Sheila E. hopped on stage to introduce Alicia Keys from the Grammys stage, where Usher and FKA Twigs performed 'Little Red Corvette', 'When Doves Cry', and 'Kiss'.

The two events were filmed a few days apart, so it's understandable they both paid tribute to the legend. But fans are not happy that the 'Let's Go Crazy' show simply repeated a performance instead of filming a new one.

"Usher didn’t even redo the Grammy performance," tweets one dejected fan, while another asks, "Why did they have Usher and FKA Twigs do a Prince tribute at the Grammys and then replay it tonight tf"

Another states, "Oh, they’re replaying my baby @Usher Grammy performance. I wanted a new performance, even though I liked this one. #GrammySalutePrince." Many fans, though disappointed, were happy to see FKA perform again, tweeting "I was hoping they wouldn’t show this but at least I get to FKA Twigs again. #GRAMMYSalutePrince"

Just like when this performance originally aired, however, many were upset that FKA was relegated to being a dancer on the stage, albeit the main one. One fan asks, "So FKA Twigs is just going to dance alongside Usher," and another states, "So they just had FKA Twigs basically pile dance instead of perform with Usher? Odd. #GRAMMYSalutePrince," to which another user clarified, "If I remember correctly FKA Twigs said she wasn't asked to sing but one of the other performers said she was supposed to sing but changed her mind at the last minute. Either way missed opportunity."

"FKA TWIGS SHOULD BE SINGING THIS SONG INSTEAD OF USHER," tweets another angry fan.

Many fans did still enjoy watching the performance, because, after all, Usher does know how to transform a stage.

"This Usher performance is the hottest thing I’ve ever seen. #Prince," tweets one fan, while another states, "Usher will always be fine!"

And another fan says, "Hot thing! Usher performing Prince! Must watch immediately and repeat!"

And of course, fans couldn't help but feel the intense chemistry between Usher and FKA who lit the stage on fire. One fan states, "Ima lil late but Usher killed that shit man. And FKA Twigs pole work is always so f*ckin beautiful. Be having me hypnotized" and another tweets, "I don’t know if I’m more jealous of FKA Twigs for getting to climb up Usher’s body or Usher for getting climbed like a tree by FKA Twigs #GRAMMYSalutePrince".
