‘Uncoupled’ is all set to release globally by July 29, 2022, on Netflix at 3.01 am EST.

What is ‘Uncoupled’ all about?

The series follows the story of a married gay Manhattanite named Michael (Neil Patrick Harris). Michael thought that his life was really picture perfect with the dream job, loving husband and a blissful marriage but all that changes when his husband breaks their 17 years old marriage and walks out on him. Within a single night, Michael has to go through two big nightmares in which first is losing the only one who he thought was his soulmate and also has to learn how to live his life now as a newly single gay man in his mid 40s within the New York City.

The official synopsis reads, “The series follows newly single Michael, who thought his life was perfect until his husband of 17 years decides to walk out the door. Suddenly he finds himself losing who he thought was his soulmate, and now needs to navigate the single life as a gay man in his mid-40s in New York City”.

Neil Patrick Harris as Michael

The singer, writer, host, producer and 48 years old Emmy Awards winning star Neil Patrick Harris has always been loved by fans for his amazing performances in ‘Harold & Kumar’ film series followed by ‘How I Met Your Mother’, ‘Glee’ and so on. He was also seen in the Netflix series ‘A Series Of Unfortunate Events’. He is going to be seen playing the lead role of Michael in ‘Uncoupled’ releasing on Netflix.

Other actors in ‘Uncoupled’ include Tuc Watkins, Tisha Campbell, Emerson Brooks, Marcia Gay Harden and several others.

Creators

The eight episodic comedy series has been produced by Darren Star and Jeffrey Richman who have also created hit series like ‘Sex And The City’ and ‘Emily In Paris’. ‘Modern Family’ creators Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns are the executive producers alongside Neil Patrick Harris who also serves as the executive producer of the comedy series.
