TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS, THE BAHAMAS: As Netflix gears up to air the fourth season of the fan-favorite show ‘Too Hot To Handle’, viewers couldn’t be more excited for its return. Season 4 of this exhilarating show will feature 10 new singletons in search of love. These hot singles, hailing from different backgrounds and nationalities, will mingle with the unbreakable rule of “not giving into temptation.”

That means viewers are about to meet 10 sexy contestants who must adhere to abstain from sex or any sexual activity while residing in a luxury Caribbean villa and competing for a $200,000 prize. But every time a contestant breaks one of the rules and gives in to temptation by kissing or touching, they forfeit prize money. The concept behind the rule is to create a “genuine connection” between the contestants. So before the show premieres on Netflix, let’s take the opportunity to learn a bit more about one of the contestants, Sebastian "Seb" Melrose.

Who is Sebastian "Seb" Melrose?

The 24-year-old, Seb, was born and raised in Bathgate, Scotland, and holds dual nationality as Scottish and Salvadorian. Seb is also Latin from his mother’s side. His father is an entrepreneur, while his mother is an interior designer. The ‘Too Hot To Handle’ Season 4 contestant also has a younger sister who is currently pursuing a degree in fashion communication. According to his LinkedIn profile, Seb has a Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, and related support services from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland. He graduated in 2019.

But Seb found his true calling in the fast-paced world of race cars and pursued a career as a professional race car driver. According to the Scottish lad, his passion for motor racing was influenced by his godfather, Dario Franchitti, the four-time Indycar champion and three-time Indy500 winner. His grandfather, too, impacted his life and nurtured his love of “all things racing” by providing him with behind-the-scenes experience with the engineers at Aston Martin.

He began his racing career in 2014, participating in the Scottish Formula Ford Championship. During this particular race, Seb was awarded the Rising Star award. At 16, he was the youngest driver ever to have made it to the finals of the Formula Ford Festival and Walter Hayes Trophy. He achieved phenomenal feats during his first year as a race car driver. In 2020, he signed with Porsche to race in the Porsche GT3 Carrera Cup Championship in Great Britain for In2Racing.

On Instagram, Seb has over 9,000 followers and posts pictures of his racing career, family, friends, and life in general. The racing enthusiast also posts many close-ups and fashionable selfies featuring his ocean-blue eyes, which are sure to melt the other contestants’ and viewers’ hearts in ‘Too Hot To Handle’. He is also the co-founder of Reprimo, a natural supplement brand to enhance the body and mind. Seb is also a property developer, working with his father to build houses and apartments in the Crieff. In an interview for ESMS a few years ago, the racer revealed that his ultimate aim was to become an IndyCar driver in the USA.
