LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The View’ covers some very interesting and controversial topics on their talk show. These topics range from gun violence to politics and much more. However, the fans don’t seem to be able to take them seriously anymore. Anytime the co-hosts discuss a matter, the fans take to social media and point out their mistakes, and antics, and it usually ends in ridicule and mockery of some sort.

Fans simply don’t take ‘The View’ or the co-hosts seriously anymore, no matter how important the topic at hand is. In their recent segment, the panel of women discussed the former New York City mayor being sued for alleged sexual assault and harassment by a former employee. The fans have taken over social media to point out everything wrong with the co-hosts and ‘The View’.

‘This show just sucks’

Facebook takes up for more than enough fans and viewers of ‘The View’ who are quick to rush to the comment section of the posts that are uploaded. ‘The View’ uploaded a five-minute clip on the segment about Rudy Guliani and his “alleged” sexual assault and harassment charges. While this is a serious topic, the comment section doesn’t reflect the gravity of the situation. One viewer commented, “I like the way The View hosts watch out for each other's back (or mouth) ... 'allegedly.'” Further, another viewer wrote, “If only your opinion matters.” One viewer tried their best to sum up ‘The View’ and added, “The view is essentially 4 women going ‘you're right’, ‘no you're right’, ‘uh uh you are.’”

With over 1500 comments on a post about Rudy Guliani, only a handful of them actually talk about the allegations against him. One viewer points out the co-hosts and their ‘love’ for Trump as they wrote, “They are all in love with Trump...Not a single episode where they don't say something about their love interest..lmao.” Whilst, someone else wrote, “The view is still on the air?” Finally, one viewer summed up their feelings about the co-hosts as and added, “Whoopi and Joy are full hate. Sunny is full of lies. This show just sucks.”

Can ‘The View’ come back from this?

In the last couple of months, ‘The View’ has been under a lot of scrutiny and the writers’ strike has only made things worse for the talk show. The fans barely listen to the co-hosts for news and focus more on the mistakes and missteps that are made by them. While ‘The View’ has been around for a long time, the fans are convinced that the talk show is losing its charm, as it is reflected in the comments. Maybe the writers’ strike ending is the only ray of hope for ‘The View’!
