Episode 5 concluded on an intriguing note with Jadis Stokes (Pollyanna McIntosh) succumbing to a walker's bite. In her final moments, she revealed to Rick and Michonne the whereabouts of a crucial file containing vital information about Alexandria.

Jadis urged Rick and Michonne to destroy this file and return to Alexandria. Despite this, she also advised them against confronting CRM, expressing her belief in their motives.

The trailer for Episode 6 reveals that Rick and Michonne temporarily halt their journey to Alexandria and instead turn back to CRM.

Michonne takes on the task of destroying the file, while Rick meets with Major General Beale (Terry O'Quinn) to acquire the Echelon Briefing, uncovering CRM's hidden secrets. Their plan involves dismantling CRM before heading back to Alexandria.

However, Michonne must confront Pearl Thorne (Lesley-Ann Brandt), who previously ordered her removal from Cascadia, where Jadis' file resides.

Meanwhile, CRM proves to be a formidable organization, presenting a daunting challenge for their takedown within a single episode.

Rick's perception of CRM may transform the briefing, possibly aligning closely with Jadis and Thorne's beliefs in CRM's mission.

If Rick and Michonne fail to return home in the finale, it could pave the way for another season of the spin-off, offering a continuation of the storyline.

'The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live' is available to stream on AMC+.
