'The Voice' Top 10: Team John Legend's Jershika Maple gets an A+ from fans

As the finale of 'The Voice' Season 21 is inching closer, the competition among the coaches and their contestants is getting tighter. But in order to perform in the finale, the top 10 contestants will have to impress the audience and secure enough votes from them to get to the coveted top 8 list. It looks like Team Legend's Jershika Maple might have managed to accomplish this feat already.

Representing John Legend's Team Legend, 25-year-old Jershika Maple has consistently impressed not only coaches but also the audience with her stellar performances. For her top 10 round performance, John decided to showcase Jershika's vocal prowess by getting her to perform to Paramore's 'Ain't It Fun'. John was hoping to show off his team member's playful side through the song and dare we say she managed to do just that.

From the moment she stepped onto the stage Jershika kept everybody captivated by adding her own unique spin to the song. John and Jershika's risk may have paid off as the fans couldn't stop raving about her performance on Twitter. A fan tweeted, "I honestly would not be mad if jershika won, i love ari but at the end of the day its the artist's lives on the line not the coaches. & jershika is one of the best currently on the show and im down to argue about it #thevoice." Another fan wrote, "Jershika’s performance is my favorite of the night so far #TheVoice." "Ain’t it fun by Jershika is gonna be my favorite song for the next couple of months #TheVoice," declared a fan.

Another fan shared, "If we going by who understood the assignment and delivered Jershika is getting the A+ #TheVoice." "If you don’t vote paris and wendy and jershika thru, u have brain rot. #TheVoice," commented a fan. "Alright y’all get to it and vote for Jershika ! #TheVoice," urged a fan.

Although we will have to wait until tomorrow night to see the results of the audience voting, we wouldn't be surprised if Jershika manages to garner enough votes to secure her spot on the top 8 list.

'The Voice' Season 21 airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.
