LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It's hard for the ones who have stage fear to come up on the stage and sing a song in front of hundreds and thousands of audience. But, you have to do it when you have such a big chance as to perform at 'The Voice'. Michigan singer, Sadie Bass, is one of them who fears performing on stage. However, she faced her fear on the show and finally came out of her comfort zone. Sadie sang 'Stupid Boy'. 

Sadie's family cheered her at the back of the stage. While, her father, who often becomes too emotional watching his daughter perform, was filled with tears when two of the judges pressed the red buzzer. At first, it seemed Sadie couldn't get any red buzzer. But, after analyzing for a few minutes, Gwen Stefani turned her chair. And, in no time, Blake Shelton also turned around. After the song ended, Sadie gasped her breath and said, "Oh my gosh! I literally passed out." Keep reading to know who Sadie chose to coach her.

Who is Sadie Bass?

25-year-old Sadie is from Michigan and later moved to Nashville. She is a singer and a writer. However, she is not much of a performer. Sadie considers herself to be an introvert who struggles to get up on the stage. However, she knows that it's high time for her to come out of her comfort zone. The singer thinks 'The Voice' is the platform that could help her overcome her fears and garner her future. Sadie is certain that even though she doesn't win, the show will be a great push for her career. People all around the globe will get to know her voice and that would definitely open doors for her in the music industry. Sadie says, "I have done on my own so far, so making it on something like this means a lot and is going to give me a lot of exposure." The singer also recently released her new single, named, 'Holy Ground'. 

Gwen and Blake both turned their chair for Sadie. Blake pitched his part, but Sadie seems to have connected more with Gwen. 'Happy Anywhere' singer's father is from Michigan and so is Sadie. Therefore, the 25-year-old singer knew that Gwen understands how hard it was for her to be what she is now. Therefore, she chose Gwen over Blake.



 

Fan showered love on Sadie for showing courage on the stage. "I’m really proud of Sadie for overcoming her stage fright with her blind audition. That took a lot of courage. #TheVoice #VoicePremiere," wrote one of 'The Voice' fanatics. However, it seemed that some of them were not thinking that Blake would lose Sadie over Gwen. One commented, "Really wasn't thinking the judges would turn for Sadie -- but she got Blake and Gwen to go for her (but Sadie is the type of artist I think would be great for #AmericanSongContest even more than #TheVoice) -- but kudos to her for overcoming her stage fright #VoicePremiere." A few fans joked about Blake, saying, "Lost Sadie Bass to your wife! @blakeshelton #TheVoice." Another wrote in astonishment, "@blakeshelton #TheVoice Blake, you have to fight harder, I can’t believe Gwen stole Sadie from you!"
