‘The Voice’ Season 20 Battle Round: Will Cam Anthony and Gihanna Zoe make it to finale? Duo wows judges again
The second Battle Round on 'The Voice' started out on such a high note that we could have spent a thousand more hours listening to Cam Anthony and Emma Caroline who sang their mentor Dan and Shay's song '10,000 hours', which they have famously sung with Justin Beiber. Cam and Emma's rendition was almost as impressive, but Emma didn't seem to realize just how talented she is.
It was her nervousness that led to her losing out on this battle round. It seemed as if Emma would neither be stolen nor saved, but she was saved by Blake Shelton in the last minute and we are glad. He said the idea was to scare some stage presence into her and according to Emma it was a tactic that worked.

The next battle was between Gihanna Zoe and Halley Greg from Team Kelly Clarkson who took on Ed Sheeran's 'Thinking Out Loud'. While the judges complimented Halley Greg on having such a unique voice, Gihanna was compared to none other than Beyonce. The winner of this round ultimately was Gihanna. Kelsea Ballerini, who is still standing in for Kelly on 'The Voice', said that she and Kelly both picked Gihanna. Halley Greg, however, was not saved by Kelsea or stolen by any of the other judges. Fans, however, noticed how impressed the other judges were by Gihanna. One fan tweeted, "#TheVoice #VoiceBattles evenly paired against each other however there is a chance of Gahanna being stolen by other coaches."

The next battle was between Durrell Anthony and Zania Alake, who had the judges and the fans getting emotional as they took on the Bee Gees song 'Emotions', which according to John Legend is wife Chrissy Teigen's song. It was an extremely evenly matched battle. The ultimate winner was Zania however. Fans couldn't believe that Durrell was not saved by any of the judges. One fan tweeted, "someone should have saved him."
The next duo from Team Blake to be battle-ready was Keegan Ferrell and Jordan Matthew Young, who took on 'Calling All Angels' by Train. However, compared to Team Blake's first Battle Round contestants on this episode, this was a rather lackluster battle. Judges advised Keegan to loosen up on the stage, but couldn't stop gushing over Jordan's cool factor, especially his bell-bottoms. Jordan's cool factor trumped as he won this battle. Nick Jonas however wasn't letting Keegan go and stole the 21-year-old music producer.
Nick, who seemed to be more impressed with Jordan during the judges' feedback session, said this was all part of his master plan to steal Keegan. Nick says he was inspired by the king of misdirection, Blake.

The next battle was between Zae Romeo and Lindsay Joan from Team Nick, who took on 'Rewrite the Stars' from 'The Greatest Showman'. John said this was a truly tough choice and for the first time on the show he couldn't make a choice between the two contestants. Kelsea though didn't cop out and chose Zae, Blake however just to complicate things chose Lindsay. The victor though in this battle was Zae. In spite of the judges showering praises on Lindsay, she wasn't saved or stolen.
Fans were shocked at this development saying, "Wow!??!? Really? Lindsey was a superstar!!! Shocked." This wasn't the only aspect of this performance that fans weren't thrilled with. One fan said, "I love this song too much and the simplicity of it that I didn’t like this version #ReWritetheStars #VoiceBattles."

The next duo to get battle-ready was Corey Ward and Savanna Woods from Team Kelly, who took on 'Dreams' by Fleetwood Mac. It turns out that Kelly pairing them was a great idea because as Luis Fonsi said, these two singers are better together. Kelly says she has never seen a couple so destined to form a band. Kelly, in what seems to be an attempt to play matchmaker, said and "you're not even a couple". Savannah then jokingly told Corey, "Don't even try it."
We can't get over how amazing @_coreyward_ & @SavannaWoods' performance of "Dreams" by @fleetwoodmac is. 👏 #VoiceBattles #TeamKelly pic.twitter.com/1LRyntp7vj

Corey and Savanna's take on such an iconic song totally impressed the judges, who did not envy Kelsea's tough task of choosing between these two singers who had such intensity and rasp in their voices. But it looks like Kelsea still had a trick up her sequinned sleeves. While Corey may have won the battle, the war isn't over for Savanna who was saved by Kelsea.
