Gihanna Zoe got off to a shaky start but judges don't hold that against the 17- year-old. Fans compare her to Beyonce

Gihanna Zoe may have started off on a slightly shaky note with her version of Sara Bareilles's 'She Used to be Mine'. But two judges at least on 'The Voice' didn't hold it against her. Gihanna got a chair turn from both Nick Jonas and Kelly Clarkson. But while she has a church background in common with Nick, she finally chose to go with the judge who turned for her first-Kelly Clarkson.

Gihanna had her mother cheering her on from backstage and clearly that was a source of comfort for the 17-year-old, for who a platform like 'The Voice' can certainly be overwhelming. California-based Gihanna is not just a vocalist but is also proficient in playing the piano. You can catch Gihanna's performance of 'Castle on the Hill' below.

The teenager seems to have already gained a legion of fans, even if the judges gently criticized Gihanna for her pitch. Fans were kinder though, even comparing her to Beyonce. One fan on Instagram said, "She was perfect to me! I didn’t hear any mistakes in her singing! Reminds me of little Beyoncé."

One fan tweeted, "Gihanna made me a fan as soon as she started singing "She Used To Be Mine" #TheVoice". Another fan tweeted, "Gihanna Zoè. Simple blind opening, good enunciation and measured performance. Her voice opening up the the middle section is touching. Kelly and Nick turned"

Fans were thrilled that Gihanna and Kelly have come together to showcase some girl power. One fan said, "#VoiceBlinds Great turn for Gihanna. I’m glad she picked to be on your team. I’m sure you can do amazing things with her on the show. #VoicePremiere #TheVoice ". They feel that Kelly in particular needs some female company and not just from the contestants. One fan tweeted," I feel like there should really be two female judges and two male. Kelly needs a wing woman #TheVoice
