UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: Another breathtaking knockout battle captivated the audience as Gwen Stefani pitted Kique, Rowan Grace and Destiny Leigh against each other. While Destiny chose to sing Christina Aguilera’s ‘Impossible’, which Gwen thought was a challenging song for the singer, Rowan picked ‘Vienna’ by Billy Joel. On the other hand, Kique wanted to perform a version of ‘Hey Ya’ by Outkast, much to Gwen's concern.

The knockout battle kicked off with Kique’s performance, impressing all the coaches with what he did with the song. His performance swayed John Legend and Blake Shelton, while Camila Cabello expressed that she would pick Kique the winner. Kique was followed by Destiny, who managed to mesmerize Camila with her performance. John, too, enjoyed Destiny’s singing but thought the vocals "could have been better." The battle ended with Rowan’s deep and husky cover of ‘Vienna’ labelled “vocal quality haunting” by John. But the clear winner of the show was Kique, as Gwen crowned him the knockout hero. However, those rooting for Rowan were given a last-minute surprise as Blake decided to use his "steal" button for the budding singer.

As the remaining two contestants were exiting the stage, Blake decided to press his “steal” button for Rowan. He did so at the very last minute, surprising everyone, including his fellow coaches. “I finally pushed the button for Rowan,” he claimed as he admitted that he couldn’t miss the opportunity. He also said that he “made a monumental mistake in the blind auditions by not pushing my button” for her and that she was a super talented person. Fans, too, seem to think he made the right call, as many expressed gratitude toward the country maestro for his actions.

Many viewers were delighted at Blake’s use of his steal and said it was "well deserved" for the young singer. Not as showy as some of the others but so heartfelt.” A fan pointed out that the young singer needs better song choices and said, “AHH I’ve been waiting for her knockout performance ever since hearing her in the battles.
