UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: During the latest episode of 'The Voice' Season 25, known as 'The Knockouts Premiere', contestants Frank Garcia and Olivia Rubini from Team Dan + Shay went head-to-head in a singing match for a spot in the next round.

During the performance, Frank took the stage and delivered a mesmerizing rendition of 'El Triste' by Jose Jose, captivating the audience with his heartfelt vocals and emotional performance.

Simultaneously, Olivia graced the stage and enchanted the crowd with her melodic interpretation of 'Tiny Dancer' by the legendary Elton John, showcasing her remarkable talent and captivating everyone in attendance.

Following their acts, the judges provided their critiques and comments on the contestants' performances.

"Frank your voice is just so rich,"John Legend said. He proceeded to praise Olivia for her diverse vocal abilities, which encompassed various styles such as a raspy tone.

Reba McEntire and John both preferred Olivia's performance, meanwhile Chance the Rapper, on the other hand, took a different stance and favored Frank's performance.

Dan and Shay made the tough decision to continue their journey with Olivia Rubini, leading to Frank Garcia's elimination from the competition.

Shay told Frank, "I am super proud, I can't speak Spanish but I didn't need to."

"There was something special about what Olivia did," Dan added. 

However, it appears that Frank's eviction did not sit well with the show's fans, as they took to social media to voice their dissatisfaction.

An X user said, "He should have won. Why wasn’t he available for a steal?"



 

Another user chimed in, "Agree! He’s way more talented."
