LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The intriguing adventure of FX's espionage miniseries 'The Veil' is finally coming to an end, which will undoubtedly shed light on the interesting plotlines that were interwoven throughout the first five episodes.

The creative brainchild of Steven Knight, the series revolves around two women, Imogen Salter (Elisabeth Moss) and Adilah El Idrissi (Yumna Marwan), who are both hiding deep secrets while attempting to outsmart each other.

At the start of the series, Imogen is charged with exposing the truth about Adilah's true identity, who is suspected of being ISIS's dreaded commander.

As the series' final episode approaches, let us address some of the topics that are expected to be solved in the season finale.

Will Imogen Salter be able to expose Adilah El Idrissi's real identity in 'The Veil' Finale?

The entire miniseries revolves around the mystery surrounding Adilah's true identity, who is suspected to be ISIS leader Djinn Al Raqqa.

Although there have been indirect indications that Adilah is the leader of ISIS, nothing concrete has yet been established, adding an air of mystery to her real identity.

It is possible that Adilah is just a pawn in ISIS's larger game plan or that she is innocent and is just being used by the terrorist group to misguide intelligence agencies.

Whatever her true identity is, hopefully, the season finale will provide an answer to it.

Why did Adilah El Idrissi save Imogen Salter from a terrorist attack?

As shown in Episode 4, Adilah saved Imogen from Emir's (Alec Secareanu) henchmen's lethal attack, implying that she has either developed a friendly attachment to Imogen or is plotting something huge.

It is to be expected that in the season finale of the episode, Imogen and viewers will finally learn about Adilah's true intentions.

It could be possible that Adilah was indeed working with ISIS but is now willing to leave her past behind in order to start a new life with her daughter Yasmina (Neyla Bara/Keyla Bara), and for that, she will require Imogen's assistance. This may explain her actions of saving Imogen from Emir's deadly assault.

What is the truth behind Marcus Seabright's death?

One of the most intriguing questions in the miniseries is the truth behind Imogen's father Marcus Seabright's (Phill Langhorne) death.

Imogen's sole reason for working with the CIA is to uncover the truth behind her father's death and in a shocking turn of events, it was revealed that Marcus was a double agent who leaked confidential CIA information to Russia which led to CIA orchestrating a terrorist cover-up to kill him.

Now, if you've seen espionage thrillers, you'll know that everything that appears simple isn't, since there could be a much darker scheme behind Marcus' death, which Imogen will investigate.

Hopefully, the season finale will shed light on the truth behind Marcus' death, providing Imogen some closure.

Will Imogen Salter be able to prevent the terrorist attack?

Over the course of five episodes, it was established that ISIS was planning a terror attack that could claim millions of lives,

In episode three of the series, it was shown that Emir (Alec Secareanu) was observed leading a cargo ship to American port, carrying the radiated cores intended for the assault.

Imogen is now aware of the impending assault and hopes to extract information about the ship from Adilah, with whom she is continually attempting to build a bond. However, getting information from Adilah is not an easy task.

Even after Imogen's several attempts, the situation remains negative on that front. So, maybe Imogen will be able to extract information from Adilah about the terrorist attack before it is too late, or she may be able to devise another way to counteract it.

Overall, the series' season finale promises to be thrilling and entertaining, keeping fans on the edge of their seats with high-octane suspense and entertainment.
