The edit of Drew's 'no wedding ring' montage impresses viewers, call the production team shady

Drew Sidora ditched her wedding ring as problems in her marriage with hubby Ralph Pittman deteriorated in a new episode of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta.' Viewers, on the other hand, are impressed with the production staff for piecing together all the moments she was on-screen with "no ring."

Drew Sidora said on Sunday night's episode of 'RHOA' that she stopped wearing her wedding ring when her marital problems with husband Ralph Pittman worsened. She claims the ring "didn't mean a thing... and hasn't for some time." She explains to everyone that her ring didn't fit her properly after she had her children. Then she dropped weight, but because they were having marital problems, she never put the ring back. She stopped wearing it altogether. During a group dinner in New York City, Drew tells her castmates and their spouses about her missing ring.

Drew admits that she should be wearing her wedding ring, but during marriage counseling, they established an agreement that the couple cannot argue, attack each other, or disrespect each other for 30 days. Kandi Burruss quipped in a confessional that if the pair wants to make their marriage work, they will "have to keep repeating this challenge for eternity." Kandi inquired of Drew and Ralph about the assistant turmoil that has produced severe schisms in their relationship. In a purportedly flirtatious text exchange, a former female aide of Pittman offered him a massage, putting Drew — and many of her co-stars — on full alert.

Ralph informs everyone at the dinner that he had to fire the assistant, to which his wife responds that she is still struggling with the idea that they were dealing with another lady, and even that conversation, emotionally. Drew was accused by Ralph of not making a sufficient attempt to "move beyond" the situation. Drew later complained to Pittman that he tries to make the incident seem like a "figment of her imagination." Ralph tries to seem like a good man by flashing his wedding ring, but the shot is quickly cut to a montage of Drew appearing on TV sans her wedding ring.

The spectacle that follows such intense conversation provides comic relief for the viewers. They turned to social media to commend the 'RHOA' production team for putting together such a comical montage that includes footage from this season as well as last, in which Drew can be seen without her wedding band. One of them wrote: "These Shady #RHOA producers focusing on @DREWSIDORA’s ring finger!"

Another show fan claimed that they didn't notice Drew was missing her wedding band until they watched the montage: "Shout out to production on the receipts, cause I didn’t even realize Drew hadn’t been wearing her ring until they ran that footage from last season. #RHOA"

A Twitter user tagged Bravo and called them slick for putting together scene, saying: "LOL @bravo think they’re slick. Y’all peep that scan of the ring no ring situation? The producers are as shady as @Andy #rhoa"

One tweeted lauding the production team, saying: "Not production coming through with a whole entire montage of @DREWSIDORA not wearing her wedding ring all last season! How did that not get brought up at the reunion?! #RHOA"

Drew and Ralph got married in 2014. They both share a son and a daughter and also are parents to another son who Drew has from her previous relationship.
