This season, viewers have sensed tension since they were introduced to Drew Sidora's assistant, Anthony. In the most recent episode of 'RHOA,' she discovers that her trusty assistant has been spreading gay rumors about her spouse, Ralph Pittman.

On Sunday night's episode of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta,' Drew Sidora's assistant Anthony allegedly spread a story that her spouse, Ralph Pittman, is gay. Sidora raised allegations that co-star Shereé Whitfield snubbed Anthony by not paying him when he previously worked for the "She by Shereé" designer at Kenya Moore's kid Brooklyn's third birthday party. After Whitfield strongly disputed the accusation, her friend Fatum interjected, “Isn’t [Anthony] the same guy who told you her husband is gay?” By sneaking glances, Whitfield evaded the question. Sidora was  perplexed, then demanded clarification from Fatum.

According to Fatum, Shereé refused to hire Anthony because he was gossiping about Sidora and said that her hubby was gay, which infuriated Sidora. She slammed Fatum for bringing up her husband's name in that light because she had only recently met her. She firmly stated that she should never, ever speak about her partner. Others then agreed to end the conversation because of the place and event, but that's really unlike 'RHOA,' isn't it?

Fatum explained that she was only conveying a message to Sidora, but the 'CrazySexyCool' star shut her down even further. Sidora told her she just can not talk about her and her spouse because they didn't know each other.

Enraged by Sidora's reply, Fatum reminds the women, “She keeps protecting her assistant, but he’s the one that’s messing up [her] name.” After the tension had calmed down, Whitfield, who alleged Anthony had never worked for her, called Sidora a "ditzy bi*ch" for bringing up the matter at Moore's tea party-themed party for Brooklyn. Moore then intervened to inform Sidora that Fatum was merely pointing out that Anthony appeared to be at the core of the latest 'RHOA' issue. Sidora stated that she didn't hear the crucial part of Fatum's statement, but didn't seem to believe it anyway.

In Season 14 of the Bravo reality show, viewers have seen Sidora's marriage to Pittman go through countless ups and downs. They dealt with a purportedly romantic text exchange between Pittman and a former lady assistant in the first episode, and a catastrophic dinner date in the second episode. They are currently attending marital counseling.

Fans have taken to social media to question Sidora's decision to bring Anthony on board and give him significant screen time, knowing that he has been spreading rumors about her marriage. One of them tweeted, "I’m starting to feel like Drew brought this ‘assistant’ on #rhoa on purpose for a storyline distraction from her weird husband."

Others were quick to point out the karma that ensued, Drew: "Drew thought she was gonna expose Sheree at that party, but ended up getting her husband exposed instead. #RHOA"

While another wrote: "Drew is messy Af for writing down that Sheree tea about not paying Anthony, when your husband is out here embarrassing you on National TV #RHOA"

Concerned fans also remarked that Drew should fire her assistant given how things are going for her: "Drew, you need to fire Anthony immediately. He’ll break up your marriage if you don’t. #RHOA"

'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' airs on Bravo on Sundays at 8 pm ET.
