The challenges would test their skills and endurance and the contestants would try to add money to a collective prize pot.
The contestants have to stick together and utilize their best strategy, observation, and psychological acumen throughout the challenges. Meanwhile, the mole would blend in the group and gain the trust of the contestants to ultimately sabotage their plans. The players need to compete with each other at the end of the show in a thrilling quiz to identify the mole.
Who is the host of Netflix's 'The Mole' Season 2?
Award-winning journalist and host, Ari Shapiro, is all set to take over hosting duties for Netflix's 'The Mole' Season 2. Shapiro has an impressive journalism career, he spent two years as NPR's International Correspondent in London. His overseas move came after four years as NPR's White House Correspondent during President Barack Obama's first and second term. He was also NPR's Justice Correspondent for five years during the George W Bush Administration, covering debates over surveillance, detention, and interrogation in the years after 9/11.
The Netflix show host later became the host of NPR's daily afternoon news podcast 'Consider This'. Shapiro has won a series of prestigious awards including three national Edward R Murrow awards, and was named Journalist of the Year in 2023 by the NLGJA. Besides being in the newsroom, he spends his time performing as a singer, having appeared alongside Alan Cumming and the band Pink Martini.
