What to expect from 'The Masked Singer' Season 9 Episode 1?
‘The Masked Singer’ Season 9 Episode one will bring on three glamorous masked singers: Medusa, Mustang, and Gnome. The 'Champion of The Masked Singer' theme will feature the sudden unmasking of one of the masked singers whereas the other two will move ahead for the Battle Royal round. Each episode of 'The Masked Singer' will have two to three new masked singers. The premiere episode titled "Opening Night" will crown one of the contestants as the king/queen of the episode. The one who wins the episode's title will move ahead for "ABBA Night" and will compete with other 2 new masked singers.
This time, in Season 9, the panelists, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke, have one special power. The 'Ding Dong Keep it On' Bell gives them the opportunity to save the contestant of their choice.
Gnome is a mask of an old man wearing the costume of green leaves. This masked singer has a long golden beard embedded with white flowers in it. Gnome is wearing a long pointed hat that has a house on it covered with green leaves. This masked singer hints to have a connection with mother nature.
Mustang will be "stirrupping some trouble" with a glamorous performance on premiere night. This masked singer comes disguised as a black horse. The performance of this masked singer has been dropped on 'The Masked Singer's page hinting that Mustang is a girl. Last but not the least is Medusa with a green-colored human-faced mask with a snake's body crown on its head.
Is Meghan Markle Medusa?
Ken Jeong revealed a sneak peek of the upcoming episode, where he was seen making a wild guesses about Medusa's identity. 'The Masked Singer' spoiler mogul Joey Contino reports Ken saying, after watching Medusa's performance, "I think the Medusa is Meghan Markle." As soon as he claimed this, the audience as well as the panelists started laughing at Ken. Well, Ken has a history of making such wild guesses.
Ken further explains the reason why he thinks Medusa is Meghan Markle. he says, "She grew far from the spotlight, something I can relate to. I'm on FOX." He further asked the laughing audience to hear him out, saying, "there's like a chest, a knighted chess piece, royalty, and I met Meghan Markle at the Soho house and I took a photo of her and she got me promptly kicked out."
