LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Masked Singer' Season 9 Episode 6, titled 'Country Night' will bring two new masked singers on the screen. The new performers are Axolotl and Macaw. These two will be seen competing against the reigning champion Fairy. It seems Axolotl's sparking bright costume has attracted fans the most.
With a big face mask, Axolotl dons FOX's 'The Masked Singer's stage in pink attire. The masked singer will be seen singing country songs. As of now, there was no clue revealed by the streaming platform about this masked singer. But, the trailer of the recent episode hints that Axolotl might not be able to go ahead in the show and will be unmasked in the 'Country Night' episode. This indeed means Macaw and Fairy will be moved ahead for the Battle Royale round. Well, there are also rumors on the internet, claiming that Macaw will be the winner of the 'Country Night' episode. Clues for Axolotl
Axolotl has a pink-colored huge face. The big eyelashes of this masked singer complement the color of its skin. Moreover, instead of having one ear, Axolotl has three on each side, with pink frills on it. This masked singer has a smaller body when compared to its face. Seeing the body of Axolotl it is difficult to say whether it is a man or a woman underneath it. Well, we speculate it to be a woman singer underneath this mask.
Even though the attire of Axolotl has manly essence in it, did you notice the sparkling sandal worn by it? Axolotl dons the stage in a pink and white striped suit with a white shirt with frills near the neck. The masked singer is sporting beige pants as it dances on the stage. Seeing the attire and the posture of the masked singer it seems that the celebrity singer underneath it might be someone who is neither too young nor too old.
Is Paula Abdul under the Axolotl mask?
There haven't been any clues released for the Axolotl mask yet. Indeed, it's hard to say who exactly could be underneath the mask. But, we speculate it to be Paula Abdul. Paula is a singer, dancer, choreographer, actress, and TV personality. She started her career as a cheerleader and in no time became the choreographer of music videos. She has been a judge on 'The Masked Dancer.' In the teaser of Episode 6, we saw host Nick Cannon say, "This is family right here." He could have meant the family of FOX.
'The Masked Singer' claimed that in Season 9 fans will get to see various award winner celebrities, even Emmy and Grammy. Referring to the same, Paula won Grammy Award for Best Music Video for 'Opposites Attract' in 1991. She has also bagged Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography twice in 1990.
A fan took to the Instagram comment section to claim, "I’m thinking Paula Abdul." To this, another wrote, "that’s what I said too lol." "What is funny is that she is actually the Axolotl in my fan series," wrote another. Moreover, a fan wrote in YouTube's comment section for the trailer released for Episode 6, "axolotl has to be Paula abdul."
With all the possible clues, it is possible Paula could be under the Axolotl costume but we will have to wait until the unmasking to confirm. We can't wait to see who is under the Axolotl mask, but until then we will be looking for more clues that might confirm it's Paula.
