'The Masked Singer' Season 9 ABBA Night: Rock Lobster unveiled as comedian Howie Mandel, here are the clues
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It's time for one of the singers to walk out of the show! The contestant gets eliminated and unmasked in 'The Masked Singer' Season 9. FOX graced us during the 'ABBA Night' episode with two new soulful voices underneath the mask of Night Owl and Rock Lobster. Well, the reigning champion Medusa remained and came back to claim her throne once again.
Sadly, the most energetic masked singer in the history of the show, Rock Lobster, gets rolled out of ABC's singing competition. Donning the stage with his lively and dynamic personality, Rock Lobster danced as soon as he entered the stage. Seeing Rock Lobster take the handle of the stage with so much confidence, the panelists guessed, "He's got to be a comedian." Rock Lobster wore a red colored lobster mask, giving off the pop vibe through his golden-colored shimmery jacket. The magic of this masked singer made everyone confused thinking about his identity. Well, unlike any other episode where we do not see judge Ken Jeong's guesses being to the point, this time the opposite happened. Ken guessed it right. Clues for Rock Lobster
FOX dropped the clues for Rock Lobster as soon as he entered the stage. As soon as the clue clip played on the screen, we saw the masked singer standing in front of a tall building saying, "Ohh hello, welcome to the masked singer's hottest club lobster, and go go." He further gave us a hint of his identity by explaining his career. Rock Lobster revealed that he has been in movies and TV shows. He claimed to have been in the industry "since you were a kid." Indeed, he must be an old man. The masked singer further added, "10 million watched me dance for 15 seconds."
Well, things were not always good for this masked singer. He claimed to be a "neurotic mess" in the school. Because of the same, this celebrity singer had to change schools 3 times. He went out of college without a diploma. Well, seeing so many downs made this singer feel that he will not be able to excel in life. Well, the opposite happened. He claimed, "Made a career out of uncomfortableness."
After Rock Loster entertained us with his soulful voice, we got a celebrity package clue dropped to help get the audience, as well as panelists, get a closer look at his personality. The clue was brought by Ru Paul's drag race icon Shangela. The clue had a "gavel." Rock Loster claimed, "I'm a great judge of character," hinting that he might also be a judge on some show.
Connecting the clues, Ken guessed the celebrity singer to be Howie Mandel. The funny personality clue hinted at him being a comedian. Howie is a famed comedian, TV personality, actor, as well as producer. He started his acting career back in his 20s. Additionally, he has been a judge on NBC's 'America's Got Talent' since 2010 and Citytv's 'Canada's Got Talent' since 2022.
With Rock Lobster being eliminated in the middle of the show, Night Owl and Medusa got the chance to move ahead for the Battle Royale round. Further, Night Owl got eliminated and was unmasked as Debbie Gibson and Medusa was declared the winner of the episode.
