'The Masked Singer': Firefly moves to finale, fans declare Thingamabob was 'robbed'

Several fans expressed disappointment over Thingamabob's elimination and Firefly advancing to the finale on 'The Masked Singer'

Following the elimination of McTerrier (pastry chef Duff Goldman) and the Ram (Joe Bucks), Firefly, Cyclops, and Thingamabob fought tooth and nail to grab a spot on the finale of 'The Masked Singer' Season 7. The recently aired episode of the hit FOX show featured all three talented performers getting into a face-off, resulting in Cyclops and Thingamabob being unmasked. 

Cyclops was revealed to be 'Lost' star Jorge Garcia, while Thingamabob turned out to be NFL star Jordan Mailata. Thanks to the double elimination, Firefly managed to advance to the finale. While the judges Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, and Ken Jeong, were pleased with the outcome, fans however weren't happy. Several fans took to Twitter to slam the audience for saving Firefly from elimination.

'The Masked Singer': Fans annoyed by Firefly's 'diva attitude', say she 'needs to go'

Ever since Firefly threw a temper tantrum by angrily storming off the stage after landing in the bottom two, fans were put off by her 'diva behavior'. Even though Firefly has proven to be a great singer and performer, fans are still unhappy with her win. A fan tweeted, "The firefly has left such a bad taste in my mouth. I just cannot bring myself to like her. After last week, she should have been gone. I PRAY she doesn’t win it all. #TheMaskedSinger."

Another fan wrote, "I hate to say it but I feel the only reason firefly is still on is due to her bratty behavior - Some of the eliminated should have stayed over here #TheMaskedSinger." "So... storming off like a little baby gets you to the finals?? Nah. #fireflymask #TheMaskedSinger," stated a fan. "I’m mad firefly made it. After that tantrum I don’t care how good you sing. You act like a spoiled diva you don’t deserve to move on. #TheMaskedSinger," seconded a fan.

"Thingamabob was robbed as hell #TheMaskedSinger," declared a fan. "I want a recount #TheMaskedSinger," demanded a fan. "I’m going to miss thingamabob #TheMaskedSinger," commented a fan.

'The Masked Singer' Season 7 airs every Wednesday at 8/7c on FOX.
