LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The much-awaited final trailer of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ has been released by the makers. The trailer starts from the moment Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) is seen sitting near the dead body of her brother. She says, “My brother gave his life hunting for the enemy. His task is now mine.” Then we see the beautiful shots of Middle-Earth from the Second Age. In the background, ‘Speak your truth’ song is seen playing. Then we see Galadriel saying, “Stand with me. Ours was no chance meeting. Not fate. Nor destiny. Ours was the work of something greater.” This gives us a hint that Galadriel is going to be seen at war with the enemies as she seeks to avenge the death of her brother.

Then we see glimpses of Noldor which is ruled by the High King, Gil-galad (Benjamin Walker) and the dark lord, Sauron, who wants to rule Middle-Earth without waging a war. Then we see Queen Regent Miriel (Cynthia Addai Robinson) saying, “Everyone must decide who we shall be.” We see another character telling Galadriel, “I’m not the hero you seek.” On this Galadriel replies, “Whatever it was you did, be free of it.” There are detailed glimpses of war between the evil army of Sauron and Elves wherein even Harfoots (one of the three breeds of Hobbits) join in for fighting against the evil.

Then we see another character in a heated discussion with Galadriel who asks her, “Why do you keep fighting?” Galadriel replies, “There is a tempest in me.” Then we see Elrond (Robert Aramayo) telling Galadriel, “You’ve fought long enough Galadriel. Put up your sword.” Overall in the trailer, we see a perfect balance of lies, betrayal, dirty politics, war, Elves, Dwarves and Hobbits. There’s a blend of action, war, fantasy, violence and ultimate war wherein Elves, Dwarves and Harfoots fight it out with Sauron.

As soon as this trailer got revealed, fans turned to Twitter. Many of them were particularly not impressed by it. They also slammed the makers for the music in the trailer. “Visually it looks stunning but there’s something very off about this. Time will tell,” said a fan. “This will be the most expensive flop in TV history,” said another fan. “This is Trash not Tolkien!!!,” a fan shared. “This is terrible gonna have to keep an open mind watching this. The song choice is all wrong,” shared a fan. “What is this s***ty music?,” said another fan. “That is not Middle-Earth and you know it. Kindly stop spreading misinformation for profit, please. It is illegal. It is called swindling,” said another fan.
