'The Last Bus' is an upcoming sci-fi mystery series that will see the people of the world mysteriously zapped away by robots who were made to make trash disappear. Five kids will journey across the country in a rackety school bus taking on increasingly intense challenges like towering junk monsters, haywire robots, and more in their attempt to get answers from the man whose creations are responsible for the mess. Robert Sheehan as Dalton Monkhouse
Robert Sheehan is a popular Irish actor who had artistic dreams ever since he was young and developed an interest in acting in primary school after playing Oliver in 'Oliver with a Twist'. His teenage years saw him join theatre as well as bag his initial roles in television with shows like 'The Clinic', 'Young Blades' etc. He later started bagging lead roles with the 2009 comedy 'Cherrybomb' being one of them.
Some of his works include, 'Love/Hate', ' Genius: Picasso', 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones', 'The Young Offenders', 'Fortitude', 'Mute','The Messenger', 'Mortal Engines', and more. His popular works consist of 'The Song of Sway Lake', Nathan Young in 'Misfits', and Klaus Hargreeves in the hit Netflix series 'The Umbrella Academy'. Sheehan has proved his talent and received multiple Irish Film and Television Award nominations and a British Academy Television Award nomination and in 2020, was also listed as number 41 on 'The Irish Times' list of Ireland's greatest film actors. He is also an author and published his debut novel, 'Disappearing Act: A Host of Other Characters in 16 Short Stories' in 2021. He will play the role of billionaire Dalton Monkhouse, whose robots made everyone disappear in the Netflix series.
Lauryn Ajufo as Misha
Lauryn Ajufo is an upcoming young actress who has amassed a few roles under her belt. According to IMDB the projects that form her roster include the action crime drama 'The Villian', the drama movie 'Boiling Point', and the thriller 'Accused'. Lauryn will be essaying the role of Misha, one of the children who go on a wild adventure to find the billionaire Dalton Monkhouse in the Netflix science-fiction kids mystery series 'The Last Bus'.
