Last week in ‘Unsaid’, we saw the most heartbreaking moment that we could have seen for Shaun (except for his father’s death). Carly felt that Shaun and Lea still have an unexplained bonding existing between them and no matter how hard each of them try to deny it, they can’t. Shaun might keep stressing on the fact that he loves Carly and he has no feelings for Lea, but it shows, at least to Carly. However, whether Carly is right or wrong is a discussion for another time (and we have had our theories on the same earlier).

For now, it so appears that she is pushing Shaun to go back to Lea and confess how he feels for her. But fans have other views on this decision. As we saw in the preview, this episode ‘Autopsy’ is going to be a look into Shaun, Carly, and Lea’s innermost feelings, as an autopsy of emotions of sorts.

A fan who loves the relationship of Shaun and Carly comments, “#thegooddoctor didn't have to betray me like this. I don't want Shaun and Lea but it looks like it's going to be shoved down my throat regardless. Ugh. Not impressed. Why did they ruin a good thing between Shaun and Carly?”

Another fan on Twitter thinks that is Shaun chooses Lea she might not reciprocate as he expects. She says, “I HOPE Shaun doesn't choose Lea, and have Carly let him go, then find that Lea does not love him as a partner.  #TheGoodDoctor”

"Truth be told, Shaun is in deep conflict with his emotions. Ideally, if you ask us, he should not choose anyone, and take some time off from either of these women in his life. And there is a reason why we say that. Hear this fan who seconds our thought and says, "

"Poor Shaun. This season is too rough on him. Almost losing Dr. Glassman, getting a girlfriend, losing his pops, kinda losing Lea for his GF then losing his GF. #TheGoodDoctor". This gives him enough reasons to wait it out, clear his head and go with the right woman who would stand by him all through.

‘The Good Doctor’ Season 3 airs every Monday night 10 pm/9c only on ABC.
