Spoilers for 'The Flight Attendant'

Episodes 6 and 7 of HBO Max's murder mystery premiered on Thursday, December 10, and ended with the cliffhanger that saw Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco) and Miranda Croft (Michelle Gomez) plan to trap Felix aka Buckley with Cassie posing as bait. The upcoming Episode 8 is the finale of Season 1 of the series and is titled 'Arrivals and Departures'. It will premiere on December 17, 2020, according to the original schedule, at 3 am EST.

After finding out that Buckley Ware (Colin Woodell) was, in fact, Felix, the murderous man employed by Miranda's boss Victor (Ritchie Coster), Cassie and Miranda had devised a plan to catch and kill Felix. Cassie is to take her flight to Rome and pretend as though everything is normal and Miranda too will be on that flight. When Cassie arrives in Rome, Miranda has told her to make sure she isn't alone, but in groups, as she takes her airport shuttle to her hotel.

Of course, Miranda is to follow her in a cab. After Cassie checks in, she is to get Miranda an extra key under the false name Katherine Obrien. Miranda also tells Cassie that since Felix likes to strike when his target is settled, Cassie should leave the hotel as soon as she can. During that time, Miranda will make her way into Cassie's room before Felix arrives and when he tries to attack Cassie when she gets back into the room, Miranda will kill him.

Let's not forget that Alex Sokolov's (Michiel Huisman) ghost in Cassie's head has warned her that she would be bait, but Cassie, at the ending of Episode 7 'Hitchcock Double' says, "let's catch a killer!"

The official synopsis of 'Arrivals & Departures' reads, "After the shocking reveal of Alex's killer, Cassie and a surprising new ally devise a plan to fix everything that unfolds disastrously in Rome. But Cassie, finally clear-eyed, won't let things go south. Meanwhile, Annie gives the FBI evidence and Megan comes clean."

As planned, we're expecting the finale episode 'Arrivals and Departures' to follow the intense plan Cassie and Miranda had come up with. Now, as Miranda always jokes (even though it's serious), there is a huge possibility that all of this could end with Cassie and Miranda dead, but the duo seems confident that Miranda will be able to kill Felix.

Considering the duo are on fire right now, they will also try to make sure Victor is out of the picture, but we all know how Max (Deniz Akdeniz) ended up, so they should probably keep that hiccup in mind. Also, besides the fact that Miranda and Cassie may die, they could just as easily be arrested by the cops after Felix is found dead — either way, whether they kill Felix or not, it isn't looking too good for them.

Stuck between a rock and a hard place, it seems like killing Felix would be the better choice — a jail cell vs death, the first choice would be better right? Not to mention, the FBI officers investigating Alex's murder do not believe Cassie and think she killed Alex, but they might find out that one of their officers sent to tail Cassie was killed. If they do find out, there is a high chance that they would finally trust Cassie.

As for the side but equally crazy plotline, Megan Briscoe (Rosie Perez) isn't going scot-free because she might end up behind bars for giving North Korea state secrets — 'Hitchcock Double' saw her husband's laptop having spyware on it and it is being thought of as computer espionage.

'Hitchcock Double' also saw Cassie reveal to Alex, the ghost, that she feels responsible for her father's death. Since this is the final episode of the season, we're expecting some sort of resolution on that front. She hasn't told anyone in the family about the events that had led to her father's death, so will she tell her brother Davey (TR Knight)?

The Season 1 finale is set to bring all the events of the season back in motion. With so much of the story coming together now, we have to wait and hope that Felix can be killed and Cassie can be exonerated.

The first three episodes of 'The Flight Attendant' premiered on HBO Max on Thursday, November 26, followed by two new episodes on December 3. Two more new episodes premiered on December 10, and the finale episode 8 premieres on HBO Max Thursday, December 17, at 3 am EST.
