'The Flash': Fans divided over Warner Bros' 'multiple scenarios' following Ezra Miller's erratic behavior
‘The Flash’ was undoubtedly one of the highly-anticipated releases of 2023 and everyone was really excited to see Ezra Miller donning the iconic costume again. However, reports of Miller’s misconduct have killed all the buzz around the movie and forced Warner Bros to think about what they should be doing. After admitting that the production house is committed to releasing the movie in theatres, Warner Bros has once again shown how things are even worse than anyone expected them to be.
A recent report suggests that the production giant is actually considering multiple scenarios to deal with the problems posed by ‘The Flash’ actor. Warner Bros Discovery thought they will be able to handle the matter because the movie doesn’t come out until next year. But it seems the pressure is mounting with each passing day and they are forced to think in a different way now. Insiders claim that the production house is already preparing for multiple scenarios amid the entire controversy.

According to a report published by The Hollywood Reporter, the production giant has three scenarios planned and one of them includes the scrapping of the film. On the other hand, the first scenario calls for the actor to seek professional help for their erratic behavior and do limited press for the upcoming superhero movie. If this is the plan that the studio goes with, then Miller will be doing an interview in which he will explain the reason behind his actions. Meanwhile, the second scenario sees Miller being completely sidelined during the promotions and other actors continue to promote the movie as per the original plans.
As mentioned above, the third and final scenario is to scrap the entire movie, just as they did with ‘Batgirl’. However, scrapping a movie with a production budget of $200 million will be one of the most shocking moments in the history of cinema.
As soon as the report surfaced online, social media shared their opinions on the scenarios and said that they want the movie to be “scrapped”. One of the social media users said, “It’s probably gonna be scrapped. There’s no way they’d be after an interview with Ezra and they can’t promote the film without the lead actor.”
Another social media user said, “SCRAP THE FILM. SCRAP THE FILM. SCRAP THE FILM.” Another social media user tweeted, “Still don’t get why they canceled Batgirl and not The Flash after everything Ezra Miller has done.”

Meanwhile, there were many who wanted the movie to release because of the hard work that everyone, except Miller, has put in to make this movie a reality. One of the users said, “The second option is the best option for those who worked on the movie and don’t deserve to experience what Batgirl cast and crew experienced”. Another user wrote, “Although we all think it should be option 3, the best and logical option is 2”.

Without any guesses, no one wanted WB to consider bringing Miller in front of the camera and why did he do those things. These interviews might make things worse for the actor and also the production house. So, the upcoming weeks are going to be really crucial for the movie and everyone associated with it.
‘The Flash’ also sees Sasha Calle being introduced as the ‘Supergirl’ and Michael Keaton donning the iconic Batsuit once again. If ‘The Flash’ gets scrapped, it will be highly unlikely that we will ever Keaton’s version of Batman in DCEU.
