AN OG's epic comeback: 'The Voice' stalwart joins Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Buble as coach in Season 27
UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: NBC has recently announced a new lineup of coaches for 'The Voice,' replacing Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, and Gwen Stefani. The OG coach Adam Levine will return to the iconic red chair, joined by Kelsea Ballerini. Additionally, Michael Buble and John Legend will also return to the NBC show.
Adam was a part of the very first season of 'The Voice' in 2011 alongside Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and CeeLo Green. However, he abruptly left the show after Season 16 in 2019. During his tenure, he won the NBC show three times. Country singer Kelsea will take her turn in the spinning chair for the first time. Adam expressed his excitement about returning to the NBC show in the announcement video.
The singer said, "Yes, I'm coming back." He added, "I cannot wait. I'm well rested and I'm ready to go. I'm a little nervous, I'm not nervous, but I'm so excited and it's gonna be great." Adam concluded the message, "Team Adam is back. I feel bad for other teams. Season 27 is gonna be different. Voice fam, here we come."

Why did Adam Levine leave 'The Voice' after Season 16?
Adam Levine was set to return for Season 17 of 'The Voice,' but he ultimately decided to exit the show after Season 16. Numerous rumors circulated regarding his departure, but he later stated that he wanted to focus on his family.
During his 2019 appearance on the Howard Stern Show, Adam revealed, "I was ready to not be doing it anymore, I think for a little bit." He admitted. "I think that when it all kind of naturally happened, I was like….okay, it feels right. For better or worse, the moment in which we decided to walk away felt really good. It was the right time for me to go."
Adam also claimed that his family was his priority adding, "It was a life-altering experience to be on that show, honestly. But it got to the point where I got married, I had two kids, and I wanted to spend time with them. They were really little."

Kelsea Ballerini is no stranger to 'The Voice'. She previously appeared as a battle advisor during Adam Levine's final season and even stepped in for former host Kelly Clarkson during Season 20. Now, the country singer is gearing up to make her debut as a coach on the show.
Kelsea was excited about the news and said in the announcement video, "Okay, it's official. I am so beyond excited to be joining The Voice next year y'all." NBC show's new coach added, "Let's go, Team Kelsea!" Kelsea captioned the video, "THE WAY IVE BEEN DYING TO TELL YALL THIS!!!!! season 27, baby!!!"
Michael Buble 'excited' to return to 'The Voice'
In 'The Voice' Season 27, Michael Bublé will once again occupy the coaches' red chair, marking his second consecutive season as a coach. Previously, Michael made an appearance on the show as a guest advisor to Team Blake during Season 3.
In Season 26, Michael made his coach's debut replacing Chance the Rapper. Michael is super excited to return to the NBC show and shared in the video, "I'm so excited to be joining The Voice next year. Let's go Team Buble."
When will 'The Voice' Season 27 premiere?
'The Voice' Season 27 is set to premiere in spring 2025 on NBC. The new episodes will be available to stream next day on Peacock. NBC is yet to announce the exact premiere date for the forthcoming instalment but season 26 is set to air this fall.
Michael Buble, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani will grace the coaches' chairs. Carson Daly will return to the upcoming season for his hosting gig.
