Episode 7 saw the Wall Street Journal article by John Carreyrou (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) gain traction. He managed to get witnesses like wronged patients, doctors, Mark Roessler (Kevin Sussman ), the head researcher of Theranos, Erika Cheung (Camryn Mi-Young Kim), Tyler Schultz (Dylan Minette), and others, who would testify and give them the details of what goes on behind the scenes. As a last-ditch attempt to get Elizabeth (Amanda Seyfried) herself to be part of the interview, he even sent over interview questions. But these questions were used to pinpoint the whistleblowers, with Holmes and Balwani (Naveen Andrews) deciding to sue them all.
Later on, she even has Tyler, Mark and Erika monitored and followed which truly frightened them. To make matters worse Erica and Tyler also learned of Ian Gibbon's (Stephen Fry) death by suicide when she had similarly pressured him. Although the article managed to get published, many fans were left aghast to learn of these events that happened in real life. Calling out the disturbing behavior, this is what they had to say.
