Fans are certain that Knetizens and non-fans have something against The Boyz because of the frequency and ridiculousness that the group is often dragged in. A few weeks ago, New’s inside joke with Deobis (The Boyz’s fandom) was blown out of proportion as non-fans felt he was being rude for not engaging in fan service. Before that, Sunwoo was called out for being “too flirty” with a fan and labeled as indecent. It looks like whatever The Boyz members do, they can never win. Now, Younghoon has landed in hot water over orange juice.

The Boyz’s Younghoon came on VLive on April 27 to chat with fans. At one point, while he was eating some bread, he shared that some orange juice would go well with it. A few minutes later, a manager who was watching the Live came into the room and gave Younghoon orange juice. The idol and fans were delighted that the manager had heard his indirect request. Unfortunately, what was a cute moment between Younghoon and his manager has been vilified by Knetz.

Younghoon indirectly asks for orange juice

A Knetizen shared the moment between Younghoon and his manager on a popular Korean chat forum which has been blown out of proportion. After The Boyz star got the orange juice, he joked, “If I say it, everything will get realized? Should I see how far can I go?” This has not gone well Knetz as they felt he was rude and should have directly asked for the juice or thanked the manager when he did bring it. Some even called it a "celebrity disease" and "celebrity power abuse".

However, Younghoon did do a thumbs up to acknowledge the manager who left immediately. There were also some Korean fans who tried to defend him by posting, “The Boyz company has always cherished them a lot and treated them super nice. To the point that fans even has a meme for it. They even joke with the staffs who are monitoring their cameras.... so I think that this is just one of the jokes that fell through.”

Another Korean Deobi wrote, “Huh? But they usually take care of the members well so he's just saying this as a joke no? I'm shocked by the commentsㅋㅋㅋ you guys are acting [over the top].”

‘Leave Younghoon alone’

International fans were also confused as to why Knetz were reacting to Younghoon asking for orange juice as one tweeted, “Why are knetz mad younghoon asked for juice…..F**KING JUICE???” Another posted, “Knetz bitching about younghoon joking around with the boyz staff???? all over some f**king orange juice??????? yall are truly sick in the head no wonder every idol quits eventually.”

One Deobi shared, “What the FK IS WRONG WITH KNETS?!!!??? LEAVE YOUNGHOON ALONE HE JUST INDIRECTLY SAID HE WANTS ORANGE JUICE IT ARENT THAT DEEP??????” Another was surprised, “Younghoon got in a controversy for asking for orange juice.”

One fan commented, “Lmao Younghoon?! Out of all the members?! He’d never have an attitude problem y’all are WEIRD getting mad at a playful joke about orange juice💀 knets just love to hate on beautiful people.” Another Deobi added, “Mad at younghoon for wanting orange juice... SIT DOWN!”
