Looks like The Boyz have been quite busy this year. They released their first Japanese album, first Universe single and two Korean-language comebacks along with their participation on the fierce survival show ‘Kingdom’. After winning the prequel ‘Road To Kingdom’, they were invited by Mnet to participate in ‘Kingdom’ where they were the runner-ups. They then took a break from their dark concepts to release the fun and cheery ‘Thrill-ing’ album perfect for the summer. And now, following the release of their single album ‘Maverick’ on November 1, the K-pop group is set to hold a 3-day concert.

‘Maverick’ is mysterious and powerful as the music video draws parallels with dystopian projects like ‘Battle Royale’ and ‘Squid Game’. The single did quite well as it became the first The Boyz song to enter the South Korean music chart FLO. ‘Maverick’ also became their first song to enter four real-time Korean charts which is quite an impressive feat. It also debuted at #17 on the iTunes Worldwide Chart and topped Bugs Realtime Chart and the MelOn 1 Week Chart. It was also #1 on Hanteo and #2 on the Gaon charts. Well, to celebrate, it looks like The Boyz is having ‘The B-Zone’, their first offline concert in two years.

Concept

This will be The Boyz’s first offline concert in two years. Their last live concert was the European leg of their 'Dreamlike' tour which was held in December 2019. Hence, the K-pop group wants to make it more meaningful since this is the first time that TheBs (the fandom) will get to see them perform live since the pandemic. For ‘The B-Zone’, the group released a poster of them showing off their youthful charms as they sport chic and preppy school uniforms. With it being quite a contrast from their latest release ‘Maverick’ which was full of action and moody vibes, fans are quite excited for the 3-day concert.
