If you thought the qualifier rounds brought some real heat, then get ready, because the choreography round is all ready to turn it up a notch on Season 17 of 'SYTYCD'! While all dancers have their own strengths, talent, and prowess, only 12 of them will make it through and will be "selected to move on to the 'SYTYCD' studio to work with world-renowned choreographers and compete each week in a variety of styles, with brand-new twists and turns introduced into the competition."

With 'SYTYCD' favorite Mandy Moore choreographing, the group of dancers had to take on 3 rounds of choreo -- the first round being their style, the second being a duet and the last being a group dance, with eliminations happening in each section. While it is easy to command a stage when you're on your own, standing out during these group/duo performances is key, because any slip-up in choreography is instantly evident.

Maci, who floored the judges with her performance in the qualifiers, was starting to feel the heat, as she believed that she was not as technically trained as the other dancers there. Unfortunately, this proved to be true as Maci did not make the cut to the 2nd round. Fans were absolutely upset to see her leave and believed she deserved another shot.

"I'm so disappointed that Maci had an off day there. We saw how powerful she is, shame, that she did not get the benefit of the doubt #SYTYCD," tweeted a fan. "So sad we have to say goodbye to Maci. #SYTYCD," added another.

"Aww I wanted to see Maci get through, that sucks #SYTYCD #SoYouThinkYouCanDance," added another. "Aww, Maci!! I so wanted her to do well. She should be incredibly proud of all her hard work and getting to this point  #SYTYCD," said another fan.

"Awww Maci is going home! I hope she comes back next season #sytycd" tweeted a fan. "The round was painful for Maci, she did not move on. #SoYouThinkYouCanDance #SYTYCD," noted another.
