When it comes to the 'SYTYCD' stage, it is all about passion, talent, and the skill to back it all up! As per the Season 17 synopsis, "The upcoming season will feature highly skilled dancers between the ages of 18 and 30, showcasing their talents in various dance styles, including contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, animation, breaking, and more. Those who are selected to move on to the 'SYTYCD' studio will work with world-renowned choreographers and compete each week in a variety of styles, with brand-new twists and turns introduced into the competition."

While the show saw some impressive talent take on the stage during the qualifiers, it now came down to nailing the choreography, where by the end of it, only 12 dancers would make the cut. However, with 3 rounds of eliminations, it seems as though the dancers themselves barely got any screen time as the show rushed through each round, with focus given more to the judges. Fans have had strong opinions about the judges and the format thus far and now, it seems to be echoed yet again as they called out the network for rushing through the choreography section.

"Watching this is so frustrating! Please change the format if you can’t go back to the old one. And #jojo you may know much about dancing but maybe not so much about communicating #SYTYCD," tweeted a fan.

"The editing format on this new season is definitely not good. We don't see enough of everyone tryin to get to top 12. #SYTYCD," added another. "#sytycd you are ruining this show with format and editing. So sad," said another.

"Im glad i get to see the judges' excitement about the dances instead of seeing the dances myself. Yes this is sarcasm #SYTYCD," wrote a fan. "#SYTYCD This whole choreography round is too rushed, and when the 2 couples are dancing, half the time you can see the judges are only focused on one pair," said another.

"So, to be clear: Time off, less audition shows every year, no Vegas/Academy this year, AND this choreography round was smashed into one single episode. Buuuuuut we still get the selection part drawn out. No shade to the dancers AT ALL. But FOX? DO BETTER. #SYTYCD," added another fan.
