Are fans excited about the sequel after 30 years?

The script for the sequel is already being written by Mark Bianculli, and Ric Roman Waugh is set to direct the action-adventure thriller. However, the announcement of the movie's sequel has made fans apprehensive, as they are skeptical of the action sequences in the sequel. Fans are expecting excessive use of CGI owing to Stallone's age. In this regard, a Twitter fan added, “It won't have real-life locations like the original. Stallone is now 76 years old. CGI overload guaranteed.”

The original ‘Cliffhanger’ was directed by Renny Harlin from a script written by Stallone where the renowned action hero had to face his fear of heights to pull off the stunts. Fans can expect an action-packed and entertaining movie as Waugh is all set to take up this challenge and take the franchise to new heights.
