SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: Netflix's 'Sweet Home', Season 3 chronicles the dystopian world where survival and intrigue take center stage with the emergence of monsters and neo-humans.

Based on the webtoon by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chanby, the show is set in the near future, when the globe is consumed by a weird virus that changes humans into flesh-eating monsters that are the incarnation of their deepest desires.

While the second season of the show concentrated on adding a number of new characters, mostly to transform the Green House apartment vibe into the stadium, audiences were not impressed.

However, the most recent season has been all about action and gore from the start, with incredible twists and turns, and the recent death of a fan-favorite character raising the stakes as the battle between humans, monsters, and now neohumans seems unavoidable.

What happened between Seo Yi-kyung and her daughter in 'Sweet Home' Episode 4?

After coming back alive, Seo Yi-kyung (Lee Si-young) realizes her error and goes after her daughter to reconcile.

In the fourth episode, she eventually locates her daughter (Kim Si-Ah) at the stadium and embraces.

The two then acknowledged their affection for each other, with Yi-kyung apologizing for her previous mistakes and her daughter confessing that she wanted her to transform into a monster so that she may experience what she is experiencing as a monster, which would not make Yi-kyung hate her.

Later, Yi-kyung and her daughter are seen fleeing the stadium but are spotted by Pyeon Sang-wook (Lee Jin-wook), who attempts to stop them as he recalls his shared past with Yi-kyung.

When it seemed that Yi-kyung had fallen into Sang-wook's trap, she tackled the guy and instructed her daughter to flee, but both were apprehended by Sang-wook.

Realizing that her daughter would be the next host of Sang-wook's body, she presents her body to him, but he refuses to listen.

In the end, Yi-kyung sacrifices herself for her daughter while revealing her daughter's name, Seo Yi-su, with her dying breath.

What will happen to Seo Yi-su after the demise of Seo Yi-kyung?

The emotional reunion between mother and daughter was extremely needed, since the stressful relationship between the two may have been deadly for many people.

As it has previously shown how strong Yi-su is, if she had begun working for Sang-wook, things may have taken a drastic turn.

Now after her mother's sacrifice, Yi-su's journey may become a primary emphasis as her special skills, as well as the weight of her mother's sacrifice, may influence her actions and choices in the future.

Given Yi-su's the emotional significance of Yi-kyung's sacrifice, it seems that she will seek vengeance and with her distinct abilities she might make herself a strong opponent against those responsible.

In addition, she still has the backing of Cha Hyun-su (Song Kang), who would undoubtedly defend Yo-su regardless of the scenario.

Yi-kyung's emotional journey and ultimate sacrifice provide a strong narrative basis for the story's continuance, with exciting developments in Sweet Home's final season.
