The concluding scene of 'Sugar' Episode 2 reveals that Carmen had physical relationships with Carter. It is established during a scene where in search of Carter, his brother visits Carmen's sister and issues her threats.

Carter's brother remains oblivious to his own demise, yet harbors suspicions that something sinister occurred, potentially involving Carmen. With Carmen's death, he now seeks answers from her sister.
