The latest season of 'Succession' is finally here and making their entrance in the drama are a couple of new faces. One of them is Korean singer and actress, Jihae, who plays Berry Schneider. The character is introduced in the season opener of the hit HBO drama that promises some high-octane action in the form of Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and Kendall's (Jeremy Strong) ugly and murky battle.

Jihae is introduced as Berry Schneider, a public relations consultant, all set to work with Kendall as he arms himself to defend against an imminent attack that his father would launch. His father in the meantime is prepping himself to fend off the government and attempts to make some new additions to his team. One of the major moves he pulls off is to make Gerri Kellman (J. Smith-Cameron), General Counsel of Waystar Royco as the interim CEO as he steps back to douse the heat after the press conference.

Who is Jihae?

For those unaware, Jihae is a Korean singer and actress who is all set to essay a recurring role in 'Succession'. She is introduced as a top PR consultant and one of the best in the business with ideas to maintain Kendall's public image after he publicly implicates his father in the cruise crimes. Although Jihae occupies less screen time in the series, there is no doubt that we will be seeing more of her in the episodes to come. She is also listed to star in the second episode 'Mass in Time of War'. 

Jihae has quite some Hollywood projects to her credit. She previously starred in 'Mars', a National Geographic series as Hana Seung, and in the blockbuster Netflix series, 'Altered Carbon'. Jihae also received a congratulatory tweet from the British-American novelist and essayist Salman Rushdie as he tagged the HBO drama and called her his friend. Talking to Variety about her role and about Kendall's character, she said: "Jeremy is a jack in the box. He's full of surprises. "It was a really fun challenge working with him because he always keeps you on your toes." …

Fans were also eager to see Jihae in a new role. "Excited to see Alexander Skarsgård, Jihae, Sanaa Lathan, Adrien Brody, and Ziwe on here #SuccessionHBO #Succession," one of the tweets read. "OMG JIHAE!!! #Succession" read another.

'Succession' Season 3 airs Sundays at 9 pm ET on HBO.
