'SKZ2021': Stray Kids announce special digital album days ahead of Christmas
The eight-member boy group Stray Kids has been dropping new music non-stop and fans are loving every part of it. The fourth-gen performance kings most recently made the news for becoming the first fourth-gen boy group to win a Daesang at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards for their stellar performance skills. The members of Stray Kids have had a power-packed 2021 with the release of their second studio album, ‘Noeasy’ which was followed by the surprise Christmas gift, ‘Christmas Evel’ that ensured Stays (their fans) said “I don’t need no presents, crossing out Christmas” this 2021.
Looks like Stray Kids are going back on their own word and are here to surprise fans with a Christmas Present. On December 21, JYP Entertainment, the label that manages Stray Kids announced that the group was going to release a special surprise for Stays from Stray Kids members in the form of a new digital album titled, ‘SKZ2021’. More details about the album are yet to be released but fans suspect that this album will be a continuation of their 2020 release titled, ‘SKZ2020'.

SKZ announce ‘SKZ2021’
Stray Kids (also called SKZ for short) have always put fans first and this was proof how Bang Chan, the group’s leader specifically thanked fans for their constant support towards the group in his winning speech at the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2021 MAMA) where the group was first to win the award for ‘Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10’.
JYP Entertainment released the poster for ‘SKZ2021’ which announced that the album will be released digitally on December 23 at 6 pm KST (4 am ET). The album is expected to be a compilation of the group’s older songs just like the 2020 album the group released. Fans are anticipating the tracklist for this album where Stray Kids members who are known for their unique noise-music style always charm fans with their songs.

Stray Kids had a wild 2021
The year 2021 has been very eventful for Stray Kids who began 2021 with their first official fan meeting. After that Stray Kids members shocked the entire K-pop industry by winning the performance-based reality show, ‘Kingdom: Legendary War’ against other fourth-gen, and third-gen groups like Ateez, The Boyz, SF9, BTOB, and iKON.
Stray Kids is a self-producing unit under JYPE with 3Racha - the group’s production sub-unit with members Bang Chan, rappers Han and Changbin, the Dance-racha sub-unit with members Hyunjin, Lee Know, and Felix as well as their final sub-unit Vocal-racha with maknaes Seungmin and I.N.
Hyunjin from Stray Kids’ Dance-racha line also charmed fans by featuring as ‘Artist of the Month’ (AOTM) for Studio Choom in the month of October and his performance of the Post Malone song, ‘Motley Crew’ became the fastest AOTM video to cross 10 million views on YouTube. Hyunjin was also featured in a special fourth-gen collab stage at the 2021 MAMA while another Dance-racha member, Lee Know will charm fans by performing a special collab stage at the 2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon on December 31.
