Stray Kids 'Christmas EveL': Release date, concept and all about the festive song

Stray Kids have dropped peppy individual teasers for the holiday single, which is a gift for fans

Stray Kids are here to stay! The boys are back with ‘Christmas EveL’, a holiday special just for fans. Stays (Stray Kids’ fandom) have been fed quite well these past few months from a K-pop comeback to a Japanese single. Their latest album, ‘NOEASY’ was a commercial success as it topped charts, earned them their first #1 on a Billboard chart, made YouTube history with the music video of the title track ‘Thunderous’, and earned them their first million-seller award certification. 

And to show their gratitude to fans who helped with these achievements, Stray Kids are back again with 'Christmas EveL'. The boy group quite recently released their latest Japanese single ‘Scars’ in early October. It charted high on major Japanese charts by ranking #2 on Japan Oricon Singles Chart and Billboard Japan Hot 100. The boys are also busy with their ongoing variety show on YouTube ‘SKZ Code’ which is why fans were pleasantly surprised that Stray Kids had time for another comeback. Release date

Stray Kids’ ‘Christmas EveL’ will be released on November 29 at 6 pm KST (4 am ET).

Where to listen

The festive single album will be available on all major music streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, MelOn, and more. Pre-orders for the single album have begun. It has already crossed 25k pre-orders in a day.

Concept

Stays are excited that the festive single is being treated as a normal K-pop album. We are getting concept photos, photo books, photo cards, and a music video for ‘Christmas EveL’. From November 16 onwards Stray Kids released individual teaser images for the members. Surrounded by Christmas ornaments and festive lights, the boys show off their youthful charms in peppy but dark outfits as they hint at a Christmas villain concept.

Fans are excited as they took to Twitter to hype up the single and the first four teasers. One Stay shared, “Our talented boy right there.” Another fan commented, “I'm dead. Minho, you're out of those world.” One Changbin stan posted, “I can't comprehend this much beauty-.” A Hyunjin fan added, “HOW IS IT LEGAL TO LOOK THIS GOOD.” One fan joked, “Here we go again.” Another Stay pointed out, “Christmas eveL is giving me big nightmare before christmas vibes. the way it's going to drop before december too...
