STURGIS, KENTUCKY: '1000-lb Sisters' star Tammy Slaton recently called her critics out who suggested the reality star get her teeth fixed. The TLC show star told her critics to "stop commenting crap" about her appearance in a new TikTok video.

Tammy shared a screenshot of a disparaging comment, "Fix them teeth," left by a social media user on her recent kitchen dance video. Nevertheless, in her latest video, the reality star addressed the comment, stating, "With all due respect, I'd appreciate it if people like you would refrain from leaving negative comments like this." She elaborated, "It's not helping my confidence." Tammy also admitted that she "can't dance" but was doing so to try and "keep [her] confidence boosted."

Additionally, she disclosed that such negative comments create challenges for her. Tammy shared that she had to take a moment to compose herself before filming her response, ensuring she remained composed and didn't lash out at the commenter. She added, "But I don't want to be that person... I'm trying to better my life, and better myself." The reality star insisted her viewers lift each other instead of humiliating the social media creators.

Tammy also raised the question as to why the "hate commenter" couldn't "simply acknowledge the hard work" she has put in and recognize that she is "still alive." However, multiple social media users took to the comment section to support Tammy. A TikTok user commented, "You have done fantastic. Don’t listen to any negativity girl."

Another person added, "Calm down people, she’s transforming. Takes time and money. She’ll do. You doing awesome.❤️"

A follower noted, "Girl, you could look like Barbie and the haters will still find fault. Their opinions are irrelevant. Keep doing you!!"

A social media user said, "People are awful! Don’t let them cut you down! You shine girl! You’re doing amazing! ❤️Love watching your journey!"

Another fan commented, "Don’t let the haters get you down! Your hard work shows inside and out. Chin up, boo ❤️."

Tammy Slaton claims she can't afford to get her teeth 'fixed'

In the new video, '1000-lb Sisters' star Tammy Slaton revealed that she couldn't afford to get her teeth "fixed" while thrashing her critics. She shared in the video, "Getting my teeth fixed costs money I don't have right now." Tammy then cheekily added, "Don't get me wrong, my bills are paid." She further called out her critic noting, "I really wanted to tell you that if you have a true problem with my teeth, then pay for them yourself."

'1000-lb Sisters' star Tammy Slaton debuts new hair-do

Tammy Slaton recently debuted a new look. '1000-lb Sisters' star's hair appeared to be cut very short in a pixie cut in a dark red color. The reality star also reflected on her new transformation in a video. Tammy replied to a fan's comment, "Your hair now is my favorite. Super cute color and style." In the video, she said, "Thank you, I kind of wanted to talk about my hair actually." She elaborated, "If y'all have been watching the fourth season, episode three of part B, then you'll see at the beginning I had red curly hair."

She added, "That was this past February - it ain't even been a year - and my hair has actually grown in so much." The reality star further noted, "So the surgery actually has done wonderful for my hair and for my body and for my health and for my happiness." Tammy then noted that she's "proud" of herself and her hair noting, "And it's not like super short." Tammy showed off the rest of her hair which was tied in a bun on the back of her head.

Tammy Slaton reflects on her 'anxiety' over driving

In '1000-lb Sisters' Season 5's previous episode, Tammy successfully sat in the front seat of a car for the first time in almost two decades. Now, the reality star hoped to get behind the wheel but she felt anxious.

She revealed in a TikTok video, "I do want to learn eventually," adding, "But right now anxiety's just a little too much. A lot going on. But baby steps."

However, Tammy revealed that did have experience driving a golf cart.  She noted, "It didn't go too fast. But yes, eventually, I do want to drive a car."
