DIXON, KENTUCKY: '1000-lb Sisters' star Tammy Slaton almost died because of her weight and unhealthy lifestyle. However, the reality TV star recently proved that anyone can shed hundreds of pounds if they really want to. Tammy has achieved another milestone in her inspiring weight loss journey.
Tammy, who recently exchanged vows with Caleb Willingham, shared a video on her social media. In the TikTok video, the TLC star revealed that she is finally able to sit in a car after her massive weight loss journey. The reality star recently revealed to her followers that she can now sit in a car seat after losing weight. The video starts with Tammy lip-syncing to the song 'Throw It!' by Spiffy The Goat. In the video, Tammy sat in the car seat with a seat belt on.

Tammy Slaton's dramatic weight loss following surgery
Tammy had several health issues that stemmed from her unchecked weight gain and her lifestyle. She even had to be hospitalized in 2022 after she began to struggle with her breathing. Additionally, Tammy underwent a tracheotomy which left her with a breathing tube for months. She had weighed around 717 lb before she entered rehab and managed to shed more than 180 lb after spending time at a food rehabilitation facility. However, as reported by People, Tammy revealed before entering the rehab that she needs to get to 550 lbs. And this year, Tammy almost achieved her weight goals but still, she has miles to go. Tammy currently weighs nearly 534 lbs. Tammy has documented several glimpses of her dramatic change on her social media.
