STURGIS, KENTUCKY: '1000-lb Sisters' Season 5 star Tammy Slaton recently broke down in tears after a social media user dropped a 'rude' comment about her 'gobbler'. The reality star took to TikTok and slammed the critic.
The TLC star shared a screenshot of the mean comment from a TikTok user who seemingly has issues with her loose skin around her neck. The comment reads, "Why do you sound like that you sound like you can't breathe and you got some stuck in your throat."
The critic added, "Also are you gonna get that gobbler removed?" Tammy shared slammed the critic in the short TikTok video, "You're so rude."
However, the reality star revealed that there's a medical reason why she hasn't gone under the knife to get rid of the lost skin after her dramatic weight loss. She noted, "My 'gobbler' will get removed one day when my doctors say I'm ready to."
She added, "I haven’t started plateauing yet." Tammy tearfully confessed, "Y'all make me feel so insecure sometimes about it. I can't help it, but at the same time I’m proud of it, I work so hard."
Tammy then called herself 'ugly' but felt she was 'getting pretty.' Tammy concluded her video by wiping her tears and noted, "I can’t talk."
Tammy Slaton receives support amid 'gobbler' comment
Tammy Slaton has surprisingly dropped over 300 pounds. The '1000-lb Sisters' star Tammy currently weighs around 448 pounds.
She spent 14 months in the rehab facility with a strict diet and abstained from drinking alcohol, smoking, and vaping for nine months. The reality star's weight loss has impressed her fans.
However, after the 'rude' comment about her neck's loose skin brought tears to Tammy's eyes, her fans took to the comment section of her video and slammed the critic while cheering the reality star.
A TikTok user commented, "Don't you dare let them get you down bby girl !!! You are doing wonderful ... and you are beautiful inside and out. Merry Christmas, sweetheart."
Another person added, "I don't understand why people are so mean! You are absolutely beautiful and don't let anyone tell you any different. You have worked hard and you should be proud!!"

Tammy Slaton dons trash bags for weight loss workout
Tammy Slaton returned to her home in the latest season of '1000-lb Sisters' and seemed quite happy with her family. However, in the teaser of the TLC show, Tammy alongside her brother Chris Combs and sisters Misty Wentworth, and Amanda Halterman was seen working out inside the gym.
The siblings appeared to have a fun time as they opted for the traditional way that football and wrestling coaches used to make people sweat more. The Slaton siblings donned trash bags during their workout which would help them to sweat and lose more weight.
Amanda and Misty also wanted to lose some weight and she also met Dr Eric to get approval for their bariatric surgery.
Tammy Slaton sits in the front seat of the car after two decades
After the drastic weight loss and bariatric surgery, Tammy Slaton was finally able to walk on her own and sit in the front seat of the car. In a recent episode of the TLC show, Tammy's brother Chris Combs insisted the reality star get into the front seat.
Tammy admitted to being worried and noted that she would not have enough room to squeeze between the car's door and console. However, Chris jokingly responded, "We can squish."
Later during the confessional, Tammy admitted that she hadn't sat in the front seat of a car since she was fifteen or sixteen years old. She recalled her journey from sitting on the floor of the car to her extreme weight loss and noted, "It's been 20 years."
