Air date
No need to wait any longer as the 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards will air on February 9, 2021. The red carpet will start at 7:50 pm KST / 5:50 am EST.
This year’s awards ceremony is strongly taking safety into account. It will be held at integrated resort complex Paradise City in Incheon without an in-person audience for safety reasons and necessary measures will be in place. The film awards were initially scheduled to take place last year on December 11 but were postponed due to coronavirus concerns (there was a spike in Covid-19 cases in late 2020).
Hosts
Announcer Park Shin Young and BamBam (member of K-pop group GOT7), who are fluent in multiple languages like Korean, English, Thai, and Japanese, will be the MCs for the red carpet event.
Nominees
Nominees for the awards were selected based on film critics’ and online votes for Korean films that took place from October 11, 2019, to October 29, 2020. Announced categories include Best Director, Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress and many more. The Blue Dragon Film Awards considers only blockbusters and popular movies of high artistic value released during the previous year.

The action crime film 'Deliver Us From Evil' received nine nominations across eight categories.
