'So Proud': Fans in frenzy as 'Wednesday' star, Jenna Ortega set to host NBC's 'SNL' for the first time
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There is no need for extra brain work to know that after starring in Tim Burton helmed Netflix's 'Wednesday' series, Jenna Ortega is all set to conquer the world. In March, it seems 'Saturday Night Live' is going to be packed and audiences will get to see one after the other interesting 'SNL' shows. Furthermore, this season of 'Saturday Night Live' was nothing short of a star-studded host line.
Starting from October 1, 2022, with Miles Teller, this season has also included Brendan Gleeson, Megan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow, Amy Schumer, Dave Chappelle, Keke Palmer, Steve Martin and Martin Short, Austin Butler, Aubrey Plaza, Michael B. Jordan, and lastly 'The Last of Us' star, Pedro Pascal. However, NBC has unveiled its next round of 'Saturday Night Live' hosts, featuring one championship-winning tight end and one buzzy Netflix star.

After 'SNL's official page on Twitter announced 'Scream VI' star, Jenna Ortega will headline the March 11 episode of 'SNL,' with musical guest, The 1975, Ortega reposted it on her page captioning it, "!!!! See you then"
Apart from Ortega, Travis Kelce will host the March 4 episode, with musical guest Kelsea Ballerini, and Woody Harrelson will return to the 'Saturday Night Live' stage to host for a fifth time on February 25. Regardless, this also marks as Ortega's inaugural stint as 'SNL' host. Ortega will host the same weekend her new film 'Scream VI' hits theaters while she’s also continuing to support Netflix’s hit series 'Wednesday' on the eve of Emmy season. That night, The 1975 is back for their second appearance as musical guests. The band is currently on tour promoting their album 'Being Funny in a Foreign Language.'
