'Sister Wives' star Meri Brown calls out TLC in cryptic post for depicting 'one-sided' story
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Is Meri Brown disappointed with what was shown of her relationship with Kody Brown on TLC's 'Sister Wives'? The 51-year-old took to her Instagram story to speak about her feelings. And, it seemed as if she was indirectly thrashing the reality show for presenting only one side of the story.
In the recently released 'Sister Wives' Season 17 'One on One' Part 1, we saw Meri having an in-depth conversation with host Sukanya Krishnan. She opened up about her take on polygamy and how things have changed between her and Kody. Meri has always been open about her feelings and we have often seen the reality star talk about her feelings on social media. The mother-of-one recently shared a cryptic post on social media. Her words seem as if it was indirectly calling out TLC for showing selective content.

A few hours before, Meri posted an Icelandic Proverb quote on her Instagram story. The quote said, "A story is only half told if there is only one side presented." And, just a few hours later, she posted yet another post. Meri posted a photo of Marcus Aurelius' quote, saying, "Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact." She further added, "Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth." What is she really pointing at? It seems as if the 'Sister Wives' star is indirectly throwing shade at the show for displaying more of Kody's point of view than hers.
In the recently released 'One on One' episode, we saw Meri hearing one of Kody's clips where he says, "I don't really consider myself married to Meri. I just, if she wanted to move on and marry another she wouldn't get into an argument with me." When asked by the host how it made Meri feel after listening to this, she replied, "he just made the decision, I never heard him say that to me." Meri further talked about her estranged relationship with Kody and how they eventually settled and got used to staying apart.
Well, it's not the first time that Meri has opened up about her mindset on social media. We have seen her addressing the situation, either directly or indirectly, several times. Recently, she posted a photo of herself on Instagram and thrashed all those who judged her for doing what she always wanted to do. She wrote, "Do your thing. Do your thing in your own time and on your own terms. Let them judge you. Let them talk about you. Let them create their own 'stories' about you." She added, "Find your courage. Find your strength. Know who YOU are and don't let them tell you any different. Worthy Up, Sister!"
Meri is currently exploring her life, going on adventures, spending time with friends and family, and making the best out of herself. She has had a fair amount of drama with Kody. Moving on with all the chaos, she is now living in a rental house in Flagstaff and focussing on her mother's bed and breakfast business, Lizzie's Heritage Inn.
'Sister Wives' Season 17 One on One Part 2 will release on January 1 at 10/9c on TLC.
