‘Single Black Female’: 5 things you need to know about Lifetime psychological thriller
Who knows, one of your closest friends may turn out to be your worst enemy? Obsession and jealousy are two facets of life that are inextricably linked. In February, Lifetime will premiere 'Single Black Female,' a new original film in which one woman seeks to resemble the other in a net of obsession.

What is ‘Single Black Female’ all about?
Reeling from the death of her beloved father and a difficult breakup, Monica, is ready to move forward with her life as she tries to land the new hosting job for an afternoon talk show. When Monica hires a new secretary, Simone, the two become instant friends after Simone moves in next door and becomes entirely immersed in Monica's life. Simone, however, hides a terrible secret underneath her lovely face, and cracks in her facade begin to appear as time passes. Monica decides to sever ties once and for all with Simone, but Simone has other plans and is determined to take over Monica’s life for good.

Raven Goodwin
