LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Now that 'Seeking Brother Husband' is coming to an end, fans are wondering whether the OG couples featured in the show are still going strong or not. Are the husbands still understanding about the needs of their wives? Or has jealousy been the reason for broken marriages?
TLC's show has shown many ups and downs of Mike and Elisa's married life. We have got to know that Elisa was meant for polyandry when she first cheated on her husband Mike with another man. However, the couple have been talking about welcoming a brother husband into their life for a long time now. However, Mike's family is not convinced about Elisa and Mike's polyamorous lifestyle, therefore, does not support them. Has it affected Mike's mindset and led him to separate from Elisa?

Are Mike and Elisa still together?
For all those who are wondering whether Mike and Elisa are still together or not, Elisa made things clear by posting a video on her Instagram. Mike and Elisa are still going strong. The star recently took to Instagram to address her relationship with Mike. She captioned the April 14's post, "Polyamory didn’t “save” our relationship. Honesty and communication did! You have to build a strong foundation before adding complication." The star explained that her relationship has actually been "really great." However, the star disagrees with people saying that polyamory "saved" her relationship. Elisa says, "Polyamory is not a fix for a broken relationship or a fix for something that is wrong in the relationship." She then claimed that when there is something wrong in one's relationship then adding partners makes it only more complicated.
Moreover, Elisa also claimed in her March 2023 post, "More often than not, cheating is something that a couple can’t work through." She added, "But for us, it gave us the freedom to redefine what a healthy and happy relationship looks like." Furthermore, Elisa confirmed that she and Mike have "been together for almost 8 years!" now.
MIke's mother does not accept his and Elisa's polyamory
Even though Mike has accepted his wife's attraction to a polyamorous lifestyle, it's a hard pill to swallow for his family, especially his mother. In the recently released episode of 'Seeking Brother Husband', we saw Elisa and Mike opening up about their quest to find a brother-husband to Mike's mother. Mike's mother clearly states that she does not approve of Elisa and Mike's lifestyle. She further added that Elisa wanting multiple partners is just "justified cheating." In Touch Weekly reports Elisa replying back to her mother-in-law, "As long as it’s consensual and all parties are in agreement and happy, why is that wrong?" Disagreeing with it, Mike's mother claimed, "I used to think Elisa was the right person for my son, but her having relationships outside of their marriage, I as a mom, I don’t think that’s the right thing for my son."
