Directed by Jorge Sánchez-Cabezudo and Borja Soler, this Spanish crime drama boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Pol López, Roberto Gutiérrez, Tamara Casellas, and others.

After premiering at the 27th Málaga Film Festival on March 4, 2024, the series made its debut on Disney+ on March 6, 2024. Now, it's set to receive an English-dubbed version on Disney+ once more, launching on April 17.

What is the plot of 'See You in Another Life' aka 'Nos vemos en otra vida'?

'See You in Another Life' aka 'Nos vemos en otra vida' focuses on the story of 16-year-old Gabriel Montoya Vidal, nicknamed Baby, a juvenile criminal who, in 2004, collaborated with Emilio Trashorras, a retired miner suffering from schizophrenia.

They were implicated in transporting explosives from Asturias to Madrid, which were subsequently utilized in the devastating 11M train bombings. Baby's participation resulted in him becoming the first person convicted for the attacks.

The official synopsis reads, "On March 11, 2004, Madrid bombings occurred. A 16-year-old named Baby and Emilio Trashorras were involved in transporting explosives. Baby's testimony was vital in the 2007 trial related to the attacks."

Pol López



 

Pol López, born in Barcelona in 1984, is renowned as a Catalan actor in both theater and film. In 2010, he co-founded the Companyia Solitària with fellow actors from the Institut del Teatre: Aleix Aguilà, Júlia Barceló, and Pau Vinyals.

Together, they brought to life productions like 'Nómades' (2012) and 'Wild Silence' (2014). López has showcased his talent in various theater roles, including in 'The Curious Incident of the Dog at Midnight,' 'Waiting for Godot' by Samuel Beckett, 'Crime and Punishment' by Fyodor Dostoevsky, and 'Hedda Gabler' by Henrik Ibsen.

In 2022, he shined in the film 'Suro,' earning him the prestigious Gaudí Award for Best Male Actor.
