Who are Angelica & Sunhe?

When you think of all shenanigans that has been featured on 'sMothered', Angelica and Sunhe sharing bathwater probably tops the list. The mother-daughter duo who run a beauty business have been inseparable ever since Season 1. Sunhe even played an important role in Angelica and Jason's relationship, seeing that she didn't allow them to tie the knot until his divorce was finalised. But it looks like the birth of Angelica's daughter Amara, helped relieve tensions, for a while. As per their TLC bio -- "Angelica & Sunhe are closer-than-close—sharing everything from their bank account to their bathwater. Crushed by Jason’s hesitation to tie the knot and her mother’s disapproval of the match, Angelica has called off her wedding. Sunhe dreams of raising Angelica’s newborn baby, Amara, by her daughter’s side. However, her plans are frustrated by the fact that the family is still living under Jason’s roof, while Angelica remains determined to make their relationship work, Jason insists that Sunhe hit the road. Tensions come to a head when Sunhe issues him an impossible ultimatum: if she goes, she’s taking Angelica and Amara with her."

Why did Angelica and Sunhe join the show?

In a conversation with The List, the duo opened up about what drew them to the show. "I mean, believe it or not, I'm extremely private, and I didn't want to do it because of that reason. But then I have to think about, I have to support her in her dreams. So after thinking about it, I was like, "Let's do it."" said Sunhe. "Well, I always have known that my mom and I have a very unique relationship, ever since I was a young girl. My mom has established this wonderful relationship with me. When I saw the casting, I knew that we would be perfect for it. I literally knew that this is us," added Angelica.
