This season, 9 celebs will be joined by Queen Supreme Mentors Brooke Lynn Hytes, Jujubee, and Monét X Change who will help them prep and gear up to take on a lip-syn battle. The winning celeb bags $100,000 for a charity of their choice. But here's where things get interesting -- the celeb's identity remains under wraps the whole time!
'RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race' Season 2 features RuPaul and Michelle Visage take on the judges' panel, along with Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews. Getting into drag is no easy feat, but thankfully, the celebs have their Queen Supreme Mentors to rely on. Apart from this, fans will also witness the return of 'RDPR' alumni who are sure to give the celebs a few tips, tricks and pointers on how to nail a lip sync battle, seeing that they are certainly the pros at it. Who is Violet Chacki?
Paul Jason Dardo, known by their stage name, Violet Chachki, is a drag queen, burlesque/aerial performer, content creator, model, and recording artist. Dardo is genderfluid and uses she/her and they/them pronouns. She is the winner of Season 7 of 'RuPaul's Drag Race'. She began performing at the age of 19, and first performed at the bar LeBuzz in Marietta, Georgia. Dardo went on to win Miss New Faces at Friends on Ponce in Atlanta while using a fake id and was then adopted by drag queen Dax Exclamationpoint and Genre Monster. Apart from being known for her fashion, she is also a burlesque performer and her acts involve aerial work, aerial silk and aerial hoop. She was a part of The Art of Teese, a neo-burlesque show that is headlined by Dita Von Teese.
She has also worked with brands like Bettie Page Lingerie and is the first drag queen to be a part of a major lingerie ad campaign. She also walked for Moschino in their Fall 2018 Collection at Milan Fashion Week. She, along with Season 10 winner Aquaria were among the first drag queens to grace the MET gala runway in 2019.
