Fans rejoice after 'RuPaul's Drag Race' alum Shea Coulée joins Marvel's 'Ironheart'

Shea Coulée shines bright with the announcement of her joining 'Ironheart' but will she play the role of 'Shade'?

In 2019, Marvel fans were deeply disheartened after Ironman's, and Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow's death in the 'Avengers: Endgame'. It was quite shocking, and depressing for fans all over the globe which drove all the Marvel fans to express their feelings on their social media posts. It is when we saw everyone was captioning all the posts "I love you 3000," back in 2019 paying their tribute to Ironman's death. 

Marvel has blessed all the fans who were weeping as the MCU has adapted another TV Series from the comics, 'Ironheart' which was created in 2016 by writers Brian Michael Bendis, and artist Mike Deodato, and later redesigned by Eve Ewing and Kevin Libranda. 'Ironheart's character is basically inspired by Tony Stark, aka 'Ironman' and she is determined to follow in his heroic footsteps. The fifteen-year-old super genius, Riri Williams built her own suit of advanced armor and will lead a life of adventure, crime-fighting, and humanitarianism. Jaren Kyei Merrell, professionally known as Shea Coulée is a drag queen, musician, and actor. She won the 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars', and was a finalist on 'Rupaul's Drag Race All Stars All Winners'.

Marvel has many movies and series lined up for the upcoming days. Fans have fastened their seatbelts as the journey has already started for them. Phase 4 began with the release of 'Black Widow' in 2019 to this year's fall, it has been nothing but just a feast for Marvel fans. Marvel is going to release, 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever', on November 11th, 2022.

Phase 5 will begin with 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' next year on February 17, 2023, and end with 'Daredevil: Born Again' in early, 2024. Although the exact date of 'Ironheart's release is not confirmed, the official site of Marvel has written that the series will be released in fall, 2023. The filming began at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia in early June, and will also occur in Chicago, to last until mid-October according to the source. 

According to Deadline, 'Ironheart' has added a gem to its cast and none of the fans are complaining. Although the role of Coulée still remains a mystery to everyone, we do know that Dominique Thorne will be seen as the Marvel character, Riri Williams. In addition to Coulée and Thorne, the series also stars Anthony Ramos, Alden Ehrenreich, and Manny Montana. Like Coulée, all three of those actors also hold mystery roles in the project. Chinaka Hodge is the creator of the series. In December 2020, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced the Disney+ television series 'Ironheart'.

When RuPaul's star, Shea Coulée announced on her Twitter that she would be joining the stellar cast, fans did not hold back on being appreciative and are constantly sharing their thoughts and giving ample amounts of amazing reviews, especially for the fact that this series is representing a queer character. Fans are also seen trying to decode how Coulée might play the role of 'Shade'.
