LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Succession' fever isn't going away anytime soon, and viewers have found their ways to fall in love with the complex characters and their lavish homes. Roman Roy, played by actor Kieran Culkin, who lives in a duplex penthouse on the Upper West Side in the series, can now be purchased for a whopping $38 million.
Roman Roy, the third eldest son of fictional media mogul Logan Roy, played by actor Brian Cox, leads an extravagant life reflected in the splendor of the duplex penthouse. The widely acclaimed and popular HBO series 'Succession,' which tells the story of Logan Roy's children and their struggle for control of the global media conglomerate Waystar RoyCo, which faces an uncertain future due to the founder's poor health, will wrap after its fourth season.

The penthouse is showcased as Roman Roy's newest residence
Roman Roy's spacious four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom Upper West Side duplex is located directly on the 49th and 50th floors of 200 Amsterdam Avenue, the area's tallest skyscraper, which came under fire even before it was built after a judge ordered developer SJP Properties to remove 20 stories from the top of the 52-story building, saying it violated building codes, reports Daily Mail.
The penthouse is showcased as the newest residence of Roy as he plots his rise to grandeur. Jeremy Strong who plays Kendall Roy on the show shared with EW that “I think it's necessary that the rarified world that these characters live in, that we are in that world in the show, and the show has that wingspan and that grandeur. It was limited by the pandemic in terms of where we could go and what we could do, but I think they really did a good job.”
Upper West Side duplex penthouse grand tour
The Upper West Side duplex penthouse, which serves as Roman Roy's residence on 'Succession,' spans 6,347 square feet and provides residents with a stunning spectacular view of the Hudson River, Central Park, and the city skyline. Andre Mellone, the founder of Studio Mellone, planned the interior of the house, which he says was inspired by New York City classics such as Halston's Upper East Side townhouse and Olympic Tower headquarters.
To enjoy the view, the living area has been decorated with a neutral-toned linen sofa, swivel chairs, and an industrial-style desk table. Residents can also use a private club and a library with a grand piano. A marble island in the kitchen provides extra seating for four, a workspace, and storage. There is sufficient space in the corner next to the windows for another smaller table. The apartment's dining room is seen in the abundance of natural light streaming into the room.
