'RHOSLC' fans slam Lisa's hot-mic remark about Meredith, say she 'loathes' her

Fight between the ladies on 'Real Housewives' is a staple plotline of the hit Bravo reality franchise. The housewives often get into ugly and downright nasty fights, while the friendship is often salvaged eventually, sometimes things get so bad that the friendships can never be reconciled, 'Real Housewives of New York City' fans watched in horror as Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin's once iconic friendship end on a very bad note. Fans of 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' feel they witnessed something similar when Lisa Barlow went off on her best friend Meredith Marks. 

In a fit of rage after Meredith defended Mary Cosby openly but didn't back her up, Lisa had a hot-mic moment when she stormed back to her room and began an angry rant against her friend of over ten years. From calling Meredith a 'piece of sh*t' to a 'garbage whore', the housewife's frustrations were recorded on the show. Aside from name-calling her best friend, Lisa further twisted the dagger when she went after Meredith's husband as well citing his frequent job-hopping as the reason Meredith and her family don't own a house and instead live in a rented property. Since it was a hot-mic moment that happened while Lisa was by herself in her room, Meredith wasn't privy to her best friend's outburst at that time.

Luckily fans got a peek of Meredith's reaction to Lisa's rant, as the housewife was the guest on Andy Cohen's talk show 'Watch What Happens Live'. After matching the hot-mic moment, Meredith clarified that she wasn't aware of the exact things that Lisa said even though Lisa reportedly later apologized to Meredith. Lisa allegedly told Meredith that she was frustrated because someone had told her that Meredith called her house ugly and this pushed Lisa into going on a rant against her friend. But after Meredith watched the show and heard everything that her long-time friend had to say about her, she simply dubbed it as Lisa project her own insecurities onto her.

Even though Meredith seemed upset and unhappy with Lisa during the talk show, the housewife maintained her calm and didn't speak anything against Lisa. After fans watched Lisa's hot-mic moment and Meredith's reaction to it, they began calling out Lisa for being a terrible friend to Meredith. A fan tweeted, "The way Lisa just talked about Meredith behind closed doors is the real Lisa Barlow. She's not a peacemaker or a real caring person. She's a hateful resentful person who pretends to be BFF with a person she loathes. #RHOSLC." Another fan wrote, "Lisa really threw away a 10 year friendship just to make lukewarm reality tv and pander to stan twitter. At the end she just made herself look horrible and Meredith has been done with the friendship. Bye to baby gourgeous #RHOSLC." Many fans also predicted the end of Lisa and Meredith's friendship. A fan shared, "After that rant, it’s safe to say that Meredith and Lisa are DONE! #RHOSLC." "It’s happened. Meredith and Lisa will NEVER be friends ever again. No chance for reconciliation #rhoslc," declared a fan. "If a friend said anything remotely close to what Lisa said about Meredith, we would no longer be friends. #RHOSLC," expressed a fan.
